Hello - and Thank you for your knowledge.Do you have the patterns for this video of the Christmas trees and rest of designs for this video? Thank you.
@thegreenwrapper

Hi! Thank you for visiting my channel😊 I don’t have a downloadable pattern for this but you should be able stitch it if draw a grid and follow the instructions in the video. There are some viewers actually tried this and shared their pieces on Instagram. They all look beautiful, so it shouldn’t be too hard to recreate it just by watching it👍😊❤️🪡🧵

Have you ever dyed Sarishi fabric? Just curious.
@thegreenwrapper
@thegreenwrapper 10 месяцев назад
Unfortunately, no. It’s really hard to get Sashiko tools and materials in Australia. So, I had been using different materials for Sashiko until I bought one for my videos. There are a lot of people who dye Sarashi in Japan, so you can definitely try it!😊❤️

This as always is amazing but I think to make lide simpler I would have off set the grid by 1/8 inch to the side so the edge ones were narrower but the the square would be directly under where you stitiched but I understand that is not traditional. I did not have time to make them this year maybe if I started now I can finishby Chritsmas 2024 😂

Thank you so much for watching as always! Don’t worry too much about what is traditional or not😊 This is just a basic suggestion from me so you can improve this pattern as you like❤️ On Instagram, some people posted their versions of this pattern and they were so amazing and I was very happy to see that people have actually tried them❤️

@@thegreenwrapper I do not know why I did not follow you in instagram today I will find you. I find some Japanese people will insist there is only ever one way to do something, I am making yukata my hand I think my teacher would tell me there is only ever one way are you sure you are Japanese? (Joke ha ha ha)
@thegreenwrapper
@thegreenwrapper 9 месяцев назад
@CraigsOverijse Ha ha😅 I’ve never properly studied how to make a yukata but I suppose they have more established process compared to Sashiko. I wish I learned it while I was in Japan❤️

These are so cute, I bought a whole bunch of pre-printed designs from Etsy to practice, so lucky the lines will dissolve when you either wash or iron (heat). Maybe one day I will draw my own designs...! This is video is so helpful and I love to see others works etc. Thank you for sharing.

Pre-printed ones are great for practicing different patterns😊 I’ve stitched one in a video before as well. Once you understand those patterns, you will be able to create your own patterns🪡🧵 Enjoy your Sashiko journey! Thank you for watching💕💕😊

I love this idea! Great way to practice also, right? The Sashiko thimble is a MUST for me.
@thegreenwrapper
@thegreenwrapper 11 месяцев назад
Thank you😊 Yes, I wanted to do a simple practice piece with Hitomezashi like the previous Moyozashi practice. It’s the same size (my usual 10cmx10cm), so it should be easy for practice. I didn’t include the practice for wide stitch gaps in the previous one, so I did in this one🧵🪡 A thimble is a must for me too but there are many skilled people who can stitch without it😄

Very nice. Love all your videos. How do you erase the remaining grid lines?
@thegreenwrapper
@thegreenwrapper 11 месяцев назад
I used a heat-erasable pen for this piece, so I removed the lines with an iron😊 I also use a water erasable pen sometimes. When I do it, I rinse the fabric with water and they disappear easily. Thank you for watching❤️😊💕🪡🧵
