BREAKDOWN:
I apologize for the recent lack of uploads, im usually once a day, but recently its been like one beat every 2-3 days. Imma try to ramp up this week, but idk how its gonna go. Im shooting to be back to "normal" by April 1st.
As for this beat, i really like it. I was obviously going for "I Think" vibes (especially with the drums) and i think i did a good job. I am workoing on building out chord progressions that work, and on this one I have like 3 progs that i made and like (chorus, bridge, beat switch). I hope the mix isnt too bad, thats my main concern for this beat. Last thing is that imma continue to incorperate my emotion into my beats more. now, this is hard considering I cant like rap or sing over my tracks, so doing things like adding quotes (like i did on this beat) or the lyrics to a sample i use all really matter to me, im not just picking random stuff, it often connects to what i am goin through or experiencing at a given point in my life.
