In David Rumsey, you can actually use some maps that are georeferenced and use them directly into Geo Layers by copying the api and using it as your map style !

What I did was to duplicate the comp and put the one underneath in like wtv style I wanted (esri or bing) so the map integrates into a recent satellite imagery. Some maps are not 100% perfect but it works amazing. I used you Cyprus alpha matte trick to make the old map appear, it's so cool! Keep up the tutorial on Geo Layers man, you're the best!
