I can't understand why there weren't hundreds of thumbs ups here. because I think we´re to old. Free were the few rock&blues bands besides "The Stones and Zep" ever - I like they music so much - Thanks for sharing and all the best @ you all from hamburg (germany)

Everyone knew Alright Now but I was introduced to their albums by a friend in 1971, when I was 15. I was blown away and loved the band. Still do😊

I always liked the version from the "FREE live" album better. They never seemed to do this song the same way twice.

Drugs killed Paul Kossoff, he was great, he tended to play minimaly so he could hear Paul Rodgers sing. These guys were little more than kids, at that time, of course Pauls still on the go. Simon liked to hammer his drums, they were all top rank. Cheers me dears.

Comparing Paul Kossoff to that school uniform wearing joke from AC/DC is a bit of an insult. Paul Kossoff didn't need a school uniform to make him stand out, neither did any of the great guitarists from that era. Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton or Peter Green in a school uniform? Can you imagine it? NO is the answer. Paul Kossoff, the guitarist, was the son of a much loved actor from London. Sadly drugs ended his life as it did for many. Joe Cocker? Much more like it. To be compared to Joe is a complement.
