Lisa My goodness what a lot of different ideas, i go to my thrift store when i need something different in my home. I have horses i have collected over the years and i do make them tack like the real horses have and i make them using the leather fabric you can get from Dollar tree or Michaels or a fabric store. I dont use real leather because i think animals skins should be left on the animals so i only buy faux leather. i have various picture that are numbered and signed by the artists and i have made a collage going up to our master bedroom and suite and it looks great and i love looking at them as i got to bed. I have made some of your ideas like your large bowl with the orchid arrangement in it from your Dinning room light fixture only i used a bowl i got at the thrift store for a few dollars it is purple with aroura borealis to the finish to it, i was going to use it as a vessel sink but the bottom of the bowl was too thin, so this bowl stayed in the cupboard for years until i saw the episode where you made that orchid arrangement and now it takes pride of place on my new kitchen island in our new forever home and every time i look at it it reminds me of your ideas and your beautiful home. Thank you for everything you do Lisa i think you are a lovely human being and i love the idea of natural cleaning supplies. I would love to meet you someday as i think we can become good friends. You and Natalee Callahan have been very inspirational in helping keep my mind active and giving me fresh ideas to play around with to make my home as amazing as your homes are. God bless you both. Love all of these ideas. I have always struggled with re-imaging what something else could be. However, with people like you, I can learn so much from, it has helped me with this process. Facebook market place is an awesome place to find things. We often times go there first before buying new. I thank you for always giving great ideas week after week. I had a pendent type light it was an octagon shape, I didn't like it for the hallway I wanted something a little more glam. So I took it and used it for a tabletop atrium and put little dollar store birds in it and some greenery it came out beautiful! I love your ideas as well! So creative! Thank you for sharing.

Good to DIY and save stuff to recycle if you have a bigger house with storage spaces so you can hide it when you are not using all of your DIYed stuff. Otherwise, it's eye-sore to display all of them.

What made you change your style?? Your home was still beautiful before you changed it to all white. I've got dark furniture. Most of it was my great aunts or grandma's. I couldn't paint it white. What can I do to brighten it up, besides paint the walls??
