Great info thanks, very clear and just what I needed! There is a lot of material around on how to get tracks into and out of the watch but not like this. I wanted to know how to pre-load the location file of hundreds of public huts and campsites as locations or waypoints so that a route can be revised during a multi day trip. Connect would not accept the GPX file but this method worked a treat
Researching to get myself the Fenix 6X Sapphire and my main concern was not being able to use OS maps on the watch. May I ask how the maps look on the watch? Easy to zoom in and out in case you need to look for a plan b route? Awesome video. Thanks again!
This video will hopefully help you as I talk a Fenix 6 for a 'walk and talk' - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ImVpmcjy3B4.html (7 minutes in I look at the pre loaded maps on the watch). I hope this helps.
