Thank you Susan. Great source of images. Spent a couple hours learning their site. You probally know this but once I narrowed it down to the CCO options I kept seeing the Available online at BHL. Clicked on that and found the whole book that was copy right free. Found a lot of great images. Thanks for sharing.

This series has been so useful. I struggle with finding public domain images on The British Library website. Any Tips please.

I’m sorry I don’t have any specific tips except to keep trying and varying your search terms. I’m not doing digital work anymore so this isn’t really a strong area for me. I can tell you the most of the times I found things by accidentally just falling down rabbit holes and spending hours and hours of searching it’s not a quick process.

I want to sell digital images on Etsy,should the images be CC0 or should they be public domain? I couldn't completely separate the public domain from CC0.

@@SusanTaylorBrown My question is exactly this. What exactly is the difference between Public Domain and Public Domain Mark 1.0? What "flagged" public domain images do you think would be beneficial for me to download to trade on Etsy and are these two types different on Etsy? Does Etys cause a problem for this reason? Which symbols do you use without any problems?

I am on a marathon to download 100 images, restore them by removing digital artefacts, dirt and grime, tears, digs and whatever else I might find in the high res scans. I love doing it and have worked with images for the best part of my working life, both pro and enthusiast. So far I have completed 60 images, some at 3:2 ratio and some at 5:4 ratio. All I need to do is find a platform to sell them. Redbubble seems to have a lot of rubbish uploads among the good stuff and I would rather find a POD platform that bases their business on the highest quality. I'm not rushing to make 10k a month. So if you know a place that fits my bill, please let me know. What I want is first class printing and first class customer care. Is there such a place?
