Techniques, moves, and knowledge of the rifle. Video starts at 10 seconds. The rifle is an M1903A3 30 Caliber Springfield Rifle. I made this video for my high school television production class and was in no way, shape, or form affiliated with the JROTC, so forgive me if there are mistakes with the terms and techniques. -.- Ok then. I'm pretty sure most people got that. And yeah, whatever you feel is best, its all what you want out of it and of course personal preference. A wor of advice though, seriously, don't go around saying that, because it's obvious you're trying to start a "this branch is better" war. Yeah, I don't play into that crap because they all are equal and have their specific missions and jobs to do. Its really ignorant when people say "Oh the marines are better" or "Army is the best branch".

okay yea the butt and the stock are the same peice, Its a 1903, not a 1903A3, the A3 varient had the peep sight closer to the rear of the receiver, also usually came with a C style 'small of the stock' where you grip the weapon, somewhat similar to an M1 Garands stock. Also the top swivel with the cut out in the center is a stacking swivel, not a sling swivel, the sling swivel is the one attached to the stock, not the forstock. look up the drill movement STACK ARMS.

My nation is owned by rich old white men who could care less about me and I could care less about them. I have respect for the men and women who put their asses on the line but at the same time cant feel but some sympathy for them. Also this conversation wasn't about them more so then about the criminals who join the military for other purposes. The next time you reply to some one you should understand the conversation before you say something completely off topic.

Did you not get the videos I sent you? I don't have to tell you any info about me because it doesn't pertain to this particular subject at all. Age does not depict knowledge and the fact that you are implying so shows me how ignorant you are. What does this mean "Why did you go into detail, are you insecure?" I don't understand how describing something in detail can make an individual seem insecure.

And how did I look over what you said? I addresed each incorrect statement you made. You honestly should understand how the military operates before you start an argument, completely throwing every service member under the bus calling them corrupt. If I didn't know the anatomy of the brain, how could I argue with a nuerologist about which part of the brain is what? It's very illogical. I also like the fact that you didn't counter-argue any of my statements. You just responded with a

The sound of the sling really has nothing to do with being able to "sell" a move to a judge. And the tightness of the sling doesn't make it sound any louder or softer. A very tight sling actually makes less noise. The trick to make your rifle sound better is loosening the handguard bands so when the handguard hits the stock it makes a sound. You can also make the sling sound better by positioning the sling clasp differently.

@WoodlandRavah No offense, but you obviously have no idea what you are talking about. Military is a hardship in it self, being a Soldier/Sailor/Airmen (maybe not this one)/Marine is a difficult, almost every single day. They also go through rigorous (this is actually an understatement) training just to become a part of the team. These people are then put to high standard of self conduct, dress and deportment and discipline, which not many civilian has, no reason not to be proud.
@xXx1Dan1xXx
@xXx1Dan1xXx 14 лет назад
@WoodlandRavah Well, let me see here. Do you really think that you would be able to say that if we didnt have service people who fought for your right to do so? im pretty sure your opinion may have a following, but your trying to see the negativity and ignorance displayed by few of this great nations service people. not all service people think they are better than civilians, not all service people do the time for college, and not all service people fight wars. you might wanna do your research.

The demilitarized M14'smy rifle squad all weigh between 12 and 14 pounds. I realize that factory, the M14 weighs 10.75 to 11.5, but that is before an overzealous CO decides that filing down the firing pins is not enough of a demilitarization, and fills the barrels entirely with lead. From what I've heard from other JROTC and ROTC cadets, lot of different model rifles have been demilitarized this way, probably because it is so permanent.

Hey man, my friends like Firehands96, and WindSpin20, my armed exhibition, armed platoon, and color guard(At school) uses the Daisy... If you go to Firehands96 account, and you look at his videos, he scored 5th place in all service nationals.... He through a bayonet on the end of his, and he does TONs of stuff.... Also watch the video from Daisy about their "Drill Rifle" it wouldn't be a REPLICA if it was different size, weight, specs and all. There 8 pounds 11 ounces, both same balance.

Hey guys guess what. It's Exhibition. That means that they can call their moves whatever the hell they feel like calling them. There is NO book or anything out that that has a definitive name for each move. If they want to call a Ninja a Triple then they can. It's THEIR choice.
@JAGUSN
@JAGUSN 15 лет назад
The names are different at different places. It does not mean this is wrong. But we call our "powerspins" singles and we usually stop them cold at port arms and not let them go down and then a "double" is just referred to as a aerial The helicopter is our doubles.

This is only JROTC, I'll be military very soon. Anywho, the only rifles i've seen used for exhibition drill would be the classic m1, then the m1903a3, an m14, and i recently found out you can spin the m16. which is pretty bad ass.

@oliverguzman2010 where do you order your demilitarized rifles, my old jrotc unit was trying to find some and claim that they can t find em....is there a place like Glendale Parade store, or Vanguard, or what?
@stryfe41
@stryfe41 15 лет назад
No rifle weighs more than 10 pounds. And that would only apply to an M-14, and that's even a maybe. Daisies are manufactured to weigh exactly 8.5, and Demils are just a tab more or shy of 8.5, and that applies to M1s too.
@burnout245

hiz port arms is something called fancy spinning or rifle movements or watevr.....for example, when you go to order arms from fancy, you flick the rifle....it takes more endurance to do fancy, but it looks alot better

Your bearing while you spin is terrible. The tighter the sling =/= more noise. Loose sling and sling clasp placement, as well as a broken in stock = more noise. Your port arms is terrible.
