The rules for aos, where something they’ve put out for free, pretty much from the beginning of aos. The only thing that always cost money where the later added battletomes (or indexes in the first edition) and generals handbook they brought out every year

dont understand the "choppyness". the 4 docs are in total 72 MB, i downloaded them without any problems and then i read them in my pdf reader, transder it to tablet and so on...

its the web browser streaming and parsing PDF, so it has nothing to do with downloading from the CDN at all, its the web browser parsing a PDF document

And now to the bad news: if I understood correctly, then according to today’s free files for AoS4, I’m really fucked with “Legends” rules: there are not and will not be any Greenskins, Phoenixes, etc. In short, if the miniature has _live_ game, then for other systems there will not even be legends of the rules! I.e in fact, models of one system are categorically banned in others. That is, I have tons of vintage fantasy miniatures on round bases and adaped for the Mortal Realms, and GW now tells me to go play the Old World? Let GW go to hell...! Let's see how 40k players sing when the Leman Rus tank is removed from the Imperial Guard army and left only for the Solar Auxillia in in the Horus Heresy!

Ok that is truly stupid on gws side. Although I can say this about the old world. It takes some time learning, but it is a pretty enjoyable game system. Still though not great what gw did. At least give us legend rules for all armies vanishing or that have been removed

lol all i do is give honest input on things... including my experience/interactions... tell me that you're not able to accept constructive criticism of things you like, without saying it! lots of people share the same experience as me, which is why my channel is successful. there are hundreds of GW apologists, that just say nice stuff. if you dont want to hear truth/honesty about things, go watch them! this is a place where Honest reviews are appreciated, not just good, but bad reviews too. but i get it, you live in a bubble, where honesty isnt good. lots of people will download the files, others will just have the same experience as me, and appreciate the honesty. as far as downlaoding the files, yes you can, but that was not my experience. its crazy how defensive you are for a company, that you want to try and attack me lmfao

@@WarHammerMan there is a difference between constructive criticism and not knowing how your computer reacts to viewing larger pdfs online. I highly doubt it is on two different servers as you mention, But some of what you say is all well and good. Personally I think GW as a whole is well behind the times with them still releasing physical books, especially since they already have outdated information before they arrive. And like many other games they should by now have all the rules online and for free, and I really don't see why they do it with AOS, but not 40k. Free rules should be bare minimum as it helps new people get into the hobby. And make updates a lot easier, rather than having a book and then a 40page folder with updates and faq on the side.
