The officer would prefer she drive away ignorant, believing nonsense, rather than setting her straight on the law and rights. He'd rather threaten you than compromise a possible date with a rather sexy looking ambulance lady. Filming alone cannot cause alarm. There was an officer on scene she had no reason to be alarmed except for her ignorance of law because she expected him to delete the footage. You can film whoever you want in public so all the copsplaining about not filming people is nonsense. Officer you are not educating, you are miseducating!
Hi AB , I am a new subscriber and i live your vids , if you are willing to travel to the north then JD sports warehouse in Rochdale will be a good location for you , the security staff there think they are above the law. They treat the staff like dirt some of them but not all are absolute mongs, They seem to be big fish in a very small pond. You will have an absolute field day there

@@Bill32H-it3svSection 5 is absolutely fine because "alarm" and "distress" are legally defined elsewhere as from the threat of violence or harassment (ie repeated interference). The problem is constables lie and don't read the definition.
@@John-tz2tx But if AB or any other member of the public didn’t like being recorded by police body cam, does that mean the police should arrest themselves for section 5?
I’ve had a brilliant idea on training for the police. It’s a two part program: 1) Arrest people that break the law. 2) Don’t arrest people that don’t break the law.
Q. - How many cops does it take to change a lightbulb? A - One to hold the bulb. Two hundred to lift and turn the house around the bulb to screw it in. Three hundred to "ensure their colleagues safety" on the scene. And a whole Plod force, including the Chief Constable, to moan that they don't have enough cops to allow lightbulbs to be fitted properly, therefore decisions on Lightbulb Fitting in the future will be on a case-by-case basis.
That cop who threatened to use section 5 on you is a great example of why the police can end up subjected to civil claims for abuse of their powers. Good on you for rightfully standing your ground 👊
"Junior" was throwing his balls into AB's face. And AB punctured those metaphorical balls. (Sorry for the image that maybe I put in your mind).😮 Junior made a big fuss ,"but didn't care" , his words and actions belie that statement.
He was showing of to the paramedics throwing section 5 around. It didn't work so he went home to wreck his bedroom. It'll take his Mam a full packet of chocolate digestives to calm him down and get his pyjamas on.
He kept counting on his fingers like he couldn't remember 3 things, poor little boy should go home to his mother so she can teach him to count to 3 without using his fingers again.
I think AB hit the nail on the head. Male officer chatting up some paramedics. AB caught them and the paramedic clearly has a fella and doesn't want this video out there for him to see.
Why would she ten sput her face out of the window instead of raising it. If in her job a police officer speaking to her was an issue she would need to find another boyfriend or give up her career / aspirations.
A peacefully performed legal activity can’t be used as grounds for a public order offence. He was trying to be the feelings Police on her behalf, and failed spectacularly.
He was trying to chat her up and got interrupted by AB, that made the little boy angry so he proceeded to count to 3 a number of times using his fingers.
"disorderly behaviour is behaviour that disturbs or interferes, or has the intention to disturb or interfere, with the comfort of others in a public setting," he 100% can arrest AB if that is met. Which it was, if someone keeps filming and that then causes distress after multiple times of being asked not to, It's very weak, but the officer isn't wrong to advise AB that if he keeps doing it, it can be an arrestable offence in that scenario. Using council cameras and Police BWV is completely irrelevant when a member of the public is filming. One has legal right to do so to protect the public, the other isn't protected by legislation to constantly film while someone feels they are distressed.
You did a great job of highlighting the distain that the public sector have for the public. They really believe they are something special and above the normal people, horrible group.
So by yourcomment, it's apparent that the Ambulance crews ( all of them, nationwide, ) are above normal people and a horrible group. As well as the Police, Fire service, coastguard and the military. Maybe, when you need and ambulance crew for yourself or a loved one, or need a police officer to sort out soemissue you or our family have with another...or require firefighters to do their job to help you...wont be calling them. After all, they all consider themselves above you and a a horrible group of individuals. You wont want them doing their job around your friends and family
We had a quad bike riding up and down our path. This is a path and grassy area where children play, walkers with prams, children and parents walk to school. We repeatedly reported it. One day the quad did doughnuts and covered 3 houses including mine with mud , totally covered in thick mud. Nothing done, no officers to be seen over 6 months. Quad bike knocks over officer going to the school and all of a sudden heavy police presence knocking on doors wanting info about quad bikes in the area. Colour of bike, clothes they were wearing , what time of day do they come out. I said check your records it’s all on there, over 60 calls from residents. We said someone was going to be hurt. Then they ask your name when calling to your home. Different standards for them and us.
Please forgive the language....... He was one arrogant little prick " I'm trying to educate you". Sorry AB you should have laughed in his face and walked away. The absolute state of British policing is a joke.......great content and remember everyone 'ALWAYS FILM THE Pi....... POLICE ' 😂
Constable tried to show off in front of the ladies 😂 he’s got a testosterone deficit issue. Trying to justify someone being alarmed by a legal activity “educating you sir” on section 5… he needs retraining or transferred to the flipping burgers department.

4 bookmakers opposite each other with boarded up windows, 13 year old kids on bikes vaping and loads of police. The state of the modern Britain high street.
Deep down he knew that he was wrong, hence the incoherent coplaining followed by ending the conversation when AB was making a valid point that destroyed his argument.
The officer is talking bollocks. If the lady is "alarmed" through her own ignorance of the law, e.g. what a photographer can photograph in public, who owns copyright of the images, who can order that photos are deleted, then she should have been educated in the law and the officer should have backed you up.
@@ACECLAN9000well it is England 😂 and those kids on the mountain bikes just show how little law and order and what little respect they have for the police and potentially dangerous situations thing kick off quickly in the heat of the moment and a blink of a eye.
@@Widdy72 when you said this is England I thought you were gonna mention rights, freedom all of that nonsense. I completely agree. @@Widdy72When things do kick off the police are usually nowhere to be seen, probably because they’ve allocated too many units to incidents where they’re not required.
I have a friend who is absolutely terrified by clowns, which is apparently not uncommon. These are the clowns with bright clothing and clown painted faces not the ones dressed up as police officers. According to that 'clowns' logic, my friend should be able to call the police and get any 'real clown' she sees in the street (or for that matter on TV) detained on a Section 5 because she definitely would be feeling alarmed and distressed.
A friend of mine is terrified by dogs , all dogs , it's pathetic to watch but very real for him ! Can the Police be called in dog emergency and section 5 administered !@@zikotesh6121
The wording of section 5 is POWERLESS if the individual's conduct is "reasonable". So I think asking the police to remove clowns from the street would not be enforceable unless the clowns are specifically individually targeting you and running up to you etc knowing you hate clowns. AB was putting his camera in the woman's face and so I think it was reasonable for an officer to intervene with words of advice
clearly it depends on the context. Where and when. if your clown was in the high street on a Saturday Afternoon during a carnival type atmosphere juggling or handing out flyers or something then no, if it was at 3am in a deserted street or empty car park (where no reasonable person would expect to see someone dressed as a clown) then clearly yes.
That police constable made the threat of abusing the public order act section 5 regarding the lawful act of filming in public should be the subject of a civil claim
Alarmed: 'frightened or concerned that one may be in danger or that something undesirable will happen'. She wasn't alarmed, she just didnt want to be filmed. He's a liar and needs to focus more on doing his job properly instead of attempting his pathetic knight in shining armour farce for the ladies. Under his 'logic', any member of the public can ask him to switch his camera off, they just need to say they're alarmed. Idiot. Well owned AB.

The Ambulance lady is someone that really needs to be watched and her behavior looked into further, considering the nature of her job. She became very irrational and unreasonable by repeatedly telling A.B to DELETE THAT VIDEO ! Even hanging out the window as A.B was trying to leave.
Almost certainly she had said something inappropriate and was trying to get it deleted in case she had been overheard. You can bet that if there were cameras with "BBC" on them she would have been saying to her friends later "watch out for me on the news".
He thought he could role up to him and harass AB and force him to delete the footage just to impress these 2 girls, but he didn't know the person in front of him is a legend and I can say a lawyer too.
I think the kind of behaviour displayed in the video, over a trivial matter, is indicative of what can occur in more serious situtations, they can dig themselves into a hole, and keep digging, making up and misinterpreting the law. This can lead to wrongful arrests/charges etc. In that sense it is dangerous. Added to that, the police have tremendous powers, permissions and working practices that enable them to compare notes, fabricate notes and facts to support things that were never 'true' or 'just' in the first place. Take the circumstanves around the Hillsborough disaster as an example if you wish, but there have been many many others. Added to that, they have the experience and power to manipulate the investigative processes, to stall them, twist them, and ultimately corrupt them. And even in the situations where it is unavoidable that officers are held to account, they can then retire early etc and get away with it whilst receing full penions etc. I think that type of things is dangerous
This is so infuriating that all those police came out to this situation !!!, in the last few weeks I've had my car damaged been physically attacked and a brick through my front door and not one police officer has come out or come to see me or contact me regarding my situation!!! Their an absolute disgrace
They don't give a shit, if was one of their family or friends house they would have been there within the hour. My mate lives in a posh estate, top pig gets his car scratched 4 pig cars door to door enquiries. He got it on his ring doorbell.
Even that doesn't work !!! Our police force in Kent are an absolute disgrace !! AB you need to go and do maidstone, tonbridge and Swanley police they don't care what so ever and seem to favour the criminals rather tan the victims , even with evidence they favour the criminals !! 😞
The Met Police won't turn out for any situation that involves "work". They will not investigate criminal damage, threatening behaviour or any crime where they have to follow-up their intervention. They will turn out to "support" their colleagues whether they need it or not. They will hang around and do nothing but watch any incident. They will talk the hind leg off a donkey rather than get involved in anything that may need follow-up. They will keep themselves safe in their cars and behind huge fences at their stations, but they will not get involved unless it is unavoidable. That is why they are understaffed, They don't need more staff just more sense and a better work ethic.
The lack of knowledge about the law, displayed by the boy in the police uniform, really destroys any confidence anyone may have in our police. Also, his overconfidence and self assuredness would be laughable if it wasn’t such an important matter when even the police don’t know the law or cant interpret it .
It seems there's no need to know the law if most things you says are blindly accepted and obeyed by the public, and most complaints fall on deaf ears. This is a dangerous mix enabling officers, in the heat of the moment, to interpret laws any which way they like.
Excellent as always AB, we take our hats off to you sir, exposing these clowns for what they are. Apparently now it seems that even although we have laws which say what one can and can't do, we the Police can always tell you otherwise, or that we can make it up as we go along when it suits us. The mistake the female ambulance worker made, was that she kept engaging you. The look on her face, priceless. Evidently whatever 'they' were talking about before wasn't important, perhaps that officer could divert his 'spare time' into fighting real crime. That officer would play the part well in Monty Pythons 'argument clinic sketch'. What a joker.!
Section 5 Public Order Offences need to go. Literally anything can cause alarm. When a police car or an ambulance drives up rapidly behind me, it causes alarm. Should they be arrested. Take Section 5 away and we'll see just how little real crime is resolved by these tyrants.
Once again a police officer taking those magical 3 words out of context “alarmed harassed or distressed” but it only applies to aggressive or abusive language or behaviour Amazing how uneducated law enforcement officers are about the laws they are meant to enforce Makes for great content as always
True. It's actually 'Serious alarm, harassment or distress'. That does Not mean anyone who takes offence can call the Police under a public order offence.
7:25 So all the other constables turned up to ensure that their colleague was safe. Nothing about keeping the people safe. Always about caring more about the police than the public.
They operate totally illegally breaking the law themselves working to benefit from public via theft by deception working for money not surprising they have to keep an eye out for each other
By turning up to keep their colleagues safe when it’s not necessary (and standing around doing nothing) they’re not able to respond to 999 calls from members of the public, so their actions are directly putting the public in danger.
rule number 1 in every job is keep yourself and colleagues safe first. that's true of fire fighters, police, ambulance, coastguard etc. if you or your colleague is injured you cant help anyone and the situation is made worse. nothing wrong with that at all.
I’m uneducated and I’m a Police Officer for real. It’s the only job I can get where I can contradict myself and the law and at the same time and get away with it.
You should make a complaint against that arrogant officer. Completely inappropriate behavior towards a member of the public exercising their freedom of expression.
I would not phrase it as over-policed. I would rather say they do not know how to manage and navigate their resources correctly. They will send 7 officers to a disturbance and 1 crew or none to a high priority call sometimes.
That's because the police, especially the thoroughly corrupt Met, have their own agenda which only occasionally corresponds with what the public thinks they should be dealing with.
I'm a paramedic. There is a culture in the ambulance service of entitlement from crews. This is, from anecdotal and personal experience, taught in universities. The entitlement taught is usually during scene management and bystanders; often lecturers falsely pro-porting you can DEMAND people to stop filming due to patient safeguarding/consent etc. Poor interaction from her. Massively due to poor education on public filming and consent. Partly fueled by her ego and entitlement. There is never an outcry when BBC ambulance and the Dragon film crew come shoving cameras in the ambulances and stations.
@@zteveh Yeah, just what you want when you're calling 999, worrying about signing a disclaimer. Or worrying how things are going to be portrayed during, what might possibly be, the worst moment of yours, or another, life. It just is morally and ethically corrupt. It's NEVER in the best interest of patients to film their tragedy, it is, however in the interest of BBC viewings and the NWAS/Ambulance service image.
Thing is what would you think if someone suddenly came up and started filming you though? I’d be suspicious of them doing that. Someone did it to me at work so I asked what site it was going on and he laughed and said it wasn’t, which made me very uncomfortable and wonder why he was filming me. If she doesn’t want to be filmed he should respect that but he seems to like antagonising people
I used to be an Ambulance man and i can assure you there is a lot more things to worry about in the job than a silly phone camera ,i would nver complain if some one wanted to film me unless i was on an unofficial coffee break but if that happened wed just move away
Soon as the cop threatens our true brother AB an does Absolutely sweet nothing to tell the ambulance women you can film if you want then it's corruption to to highest degree. The cop says he's educating AB- What a joke it's impossible to educate a jem When your an oppresser cop.
no, and neither would you or he be, if you just wore a camera around you neck or on your coat. its pointing at people that sets them off, but you all know that. because that's the reaction you are trying to get. you sad bunch of losers.
It takes up 5hrs for the police to attend a priority call😮So what are they all doing? Apart from Chatting up paramedics, monitoring Tweets on line, and trying to arrest a man that's had an argument with his mate over a Debt.😮 They are Not Even Fit For Purpose.
She was 'triggered' that's not the same as harassed, alarmed or distressed. If the police officer had explained the rules of public photography to the paramedic she could have realized there was no need to be distressed.
The legal/criminal definition of harassed alarmed and distressed is at a much higher level than ‘you are doing something that upsets somebody’. You would have to be loud and aggressive of manner to trigger that one.
If i heard my 23 yr old daughter say youre not allowed to film me, whilst in public , i would take the piss out of her in front of all her friends . As gor the child cop, coming out with alarm and distress, hes an idiot or a blatant lier. Now hes on the internet for ever looking a fool. (I want all the government cameras watching me to stop, because i feel alarmed and distressed.) 😂🤣😂🤣
Plod not explaining to the woman that what you were doing was perfectly legal and did not require permission means she will continue to misunderstand the law. Why are we paying him?
To be fair, the discussion with the big bloke seemed to go quite well. The officers seemed quite calm, he was calm, they interacted well. The fair haired officer was talking to him and I would say weighing him up in a very natural way. I guess they got his details, and it would seem there had been some sort of scuffle, which I would expect a good officer to wish to take an interest in. But the guy was then allowed to go about his business. Purely from my owen observation the guy seemed quite cool, a nice guy. Then Boooooom! the officer chatting up the paramedic made a complete ar#e of himself. Great fodder for AB, hopefully a learning/training opportunity for all officers
A friend of mine was robbed by a family of Romanians in Romford. The Romanian woman with a pushchair bump into my mate acted sorry, but after they moved on he found out his wallet had been lifted by them he looked for them but as normal they had left with his pension money 🤬🤬🤬
It looked to me as if the Police Officer was trying to impress the paramedics with his miss interpretation of section 5 of the criminal justice act. I feel he was assuming that you didn't know this law and you would obey him and go away. If you had done that, he would have felt like such a big man in front of the paramedics. Instead, you made him look the small man that he is! Show this video to his sergeant and make him look even smaller. Best wishes mate......Garry.
He just took their side immediately because they are part of the protected class known as Hi-Vis Vest Wearers. Everyone knows that makes them above the mere peons in non neon garb and deserving of special treatment from other Hi-Vissers. The blue line is earning an equal in the neon line.
well done for exposing the state of Plod these days. Yet more evidence that there is now zero quality control when recruiting cops. I'm amazed that some of them can even read and write.
That cop needs educating in God's word before it's too late.Well done brother AB- NEVER EVER WILL THEY POWER HUNGRY CORRUPT COPS EDUCATE OUR BROTHER AS OUR BROTHER SEES THROUGH THERE SMOOTH TALKING BIAS ACTIONS A MILE AWAY.
Did they inexplicably leave out, the words "a person of reasonable firmness". Strange how that significant portion always eludes them. I can not imagine why that so often happens?
Nice one AB Hey did you know those digital advertising stations / boards have hidden cameras with facial recognition technology. What a time to be alive
Don’t know what’s more strange, the fact she doesn’t want to be on camera then leans out the window aperture so AB can get a clearer shot of her. Or Declan Donnelly threatening to use a Section 5. 😊
to put the copper right, when she asked you stop the second time she wasnt alarmed harrased or distressed she was misinformed about the law as she said you havent got my permission she didnt say she was distressed
16:35 So he refuses to get into a legal debate. When his whole job and meaning for living is to enforce laws. Not his opinion about what the laws might mean or his view on what bits of the law he'll use to suit his own purposes or cherry pick particular bits of the law to get his way.
