That’s beautiful! Great to hear MrLevy’s wonderful playing and shout-out to Craig Handy - I subbed for you a bunch in your lab bands at NTSU and played 2nd tenor to you in the DJO when we backed up Billy Eckstine on that jazz cruise back in ‘86. Tenor battling on Doodle Oodle was always a huge learning experience!

I don't think I've ever heard anyone cover Rollins' "Freedom Suite" before...very cool- especially when the two sax players harmonize the themes. In fact, it's been a few years since I listened to the original but now I'll be pulling it off the shelf and listening later this week. And, of course, the meaning behind the suite continues to be relevant. I'm not familiar with these players- thanks for featuring them. Is Craig Handy related to John Handy?
