In this clip, Freeway Ricky started off reacting to the controversy surrounding Kanye, including comments he made about George Floyd. Freeway Ricky stated that he speaks to people in the streets regularly, and he added that he’s been asking “why do we allow the people with the loudest horn to be giving out information,” adding that just because you’re the loudest doesn’t mean you have value. Freeway Ricky then stated that he doesn’t think Kanye holds any value, and he added that he knows Kanye didn’t make $6 billion in 3 years. From there, Freeway Ricky spoke about Kanye coming back to his Black roots after being shunned for his comments about the Jewish community. Freeway Ricky stated that he’s not supporting Kanye any longer, and he reacted to Kanye comparing himself to George Floyd, which you can hear more about above.

If you financially decapitate a man in public and take away his assets, his means of making money, his ability to provide for his family and loved ones, does that not equal killing that man??? I distinctly remember Katt Williams in another interview saying that they did the same thing to Dave Chappelle and everyone sat back and agreed with him. Dave Chappelle even made the same type of an analogy (not about GF but about being publically martyred) about himself on his "stand up special" when he talked about how HBO stole from him and why he rocks with Netflix. What Kanye said is already publicly known, the problem is, is that he said it. And it wouldn't matter that he said it, except he's a BLACK CONSERVATIVE (not liberal, or democrat) saying it. I may not agree with everything he said, so what, but I do not agree with taking everything from that BLACK MAN when all he did was voice an opinion, that hurt NO ONE.
