The only thing I didnt like was the quality or lack of with the clevis. They didnt even include fuel tub pieces to secure the arms. I beefed all of mine up and now they wont detach and there is zero slop. Other than that, the quality is outstanding.
Gavin Wilkins yes it is referred to as a LEX. The term wing root glove comes from the F-14 tomcat, referring to the same area that the hornet calls the LEX. The tomcat calls it a glove for obvious reasons and that term has been used, albeit incorrect, for the same area on the hornet.
nothing about this blue box changes the function of the gyro. Just take the aileron, elevator and rudder lead that come out of the blue box and put them into the gyro first and then to the RX. no difference
Excellent vid again James, just love the hidden elevator servos ! Just one more question for us grass pilots: is the front trailing link fully functional - does the front wheel move backwards ? Thanks & greetings from Belgium (Icarus the 2nd)
I heard somewhere you could put an 80mm EDF in this bird. I wrecked a competitive brand 80mm Jet, and I was wondering if it really was possible to put an 80 in here and how that would effect the CG?
David Kristy haha same for me...started 2 months ago with Freewing Stinger 90mm Deluxe, then Freewing F-22 Raptor 8S and yesterday Freewing F18 64mm...I’m afraid I’m falling in love with EDF🙈😉
salve bella dimostrazione, vorrei sapere se il modello puo' andare a 8 celle, e' le due fessure laterali che partono dalle prese d'aria per poi salire fin sopra la fusoliera che funzione anno? grazie
I want order one of this thing soon just I don’t know between F14, F16,F15 , F4 and F5 which one are best to choice .. i like more F14 but im afraid is a little hard for me to rebuild it, look like F15 is more ready to fly right after opening the box ;)
Hello. I wanted to ask you how do you put the stickers on the model, I took it too and built it all alone that I don't know how to put the stickers on, please help me please?
Hey guys, just ordered the BA version. Now my question. I donˋt like to install the wing tip rails. Could there arise a aerodynamic issue or isnˋt that a problem at all? I think it should reduce drag anyway Bit what about the airflow? THX and best regards
yes they are, but those are easily customizable. When making an RC model we have to pick and choose the amount of features we can include. Every addition adds cost. So there is a balance that has to be had.
I really enjoyed this video. My only question is what level of RC enthusiast is this meant for? Your unboxing and assembly made it look easy, but I suspect actually flying this requires some expert level experience. Thanks again for the video!
Just posted them for you, check here: www.hobbysquawk.com/forum/rc-airplanes/jets-and-edfs/186270-official-freewing-f-a-18c-hornet-90mm-edf-thread?p=191848#post191848
@@MotionRC Excellent, thank you so much. This is VERY helpful, and a nice shot of some of the interior duct work also. Thank you again for going above and beyond for your customers.
@@MotionRC I somehow get the feeling like I'm in the minority on wanting to see things like that. I think most people will be happy with the stock setup and aim to just get that. So it's probably not a big deal to most customers if you don't show this stuff. I couldn't blame you for not thinking to do it. But since there is a smaller minority of folks like myself who will want to do 8S or just use other equipment. It's a really great thing that you engage with your customer base in this way and are willing to take the extra time and put in that effort for us. Thank you.
@@MotionRC Let's stick to the Motion RC products, those are great. Keep up the enthoustiastic promo-video's. Forget the barber-issues. 😉 and keep the Motion RC good work up 😀 Thanks!!
hi good demonstration, I would like to know if the model can go to 8 cells, and the two side slots that start from the air intakes and then rise up above the fuselage which function year? thank you
