With over 500 flights between Scotty and my Stinger 90s you would expect some crash action (especially how we like to thrash these great machines). Im pleased to say that these two machines are still performing like new. They bounce back so well, sometimes with a bit of cyno and tape, but they have never let us down at the flying field yet.
Both are running what we like to call v2 specs, which is a standard Stinger 90 with a Freewing 90mm 12 blade fan and motor from the deluxe version of the T45 (ask your Freewing agent for the fan unit as they are readily available and great value for money... see Xtreme Hobby in Australia). No change to any other component in the aircraft (the fan simply screws into place and plugs straight into the Hobbywing 130Amp ESC already in the plane.
Undercarriage, servos, esc motor and airframe still holding up to brutal flying without issue. Enjoy the movie. yoda

Love this video, nice random flying.That wasn't a crash more of a creative landing . Love the tow vehicle, gotta save those amps for flight. Can it reattach remotely for retrieval as well?

Thanks for your encouragement. Great idea re tractor but no... will ask owner to upgrade with fpv reverse camera and bingobango... maybe we can have some sort of reversing prompt like found in most cars with the dotted lines showing current prediction of where the car will end up. Might just taxi in

Great flying and great machine. What's the weight of the graphene batteries your using.

WalesFly3r . Graphemes are around 1kg. We use batteries ranging from 780g all the way up to 1150g (Nanotech 8000mAh pack... my favourite for long fast flights). These jets are CofG numb, and there is plenty of room to shift batteries back and forth that helps. They are great aircraft

Biggest problem with that jet is the landing gear always breaks or bends over.

You are obviously landing heavy then as we have hundreds of flights on ours and still have the original landing gear working perfectly. Occasional maintenance helps, but every aircraft needs that. Yoda

well when you run the plane down the grass to take off and one of the landing gear collapses thats what i call a poor design. nothing to do with pilot skills. maybe our grass is a bit taller than yours?
