I have to say, this simple video saved my life! The part # in description was accurate. I called several dealers and they all either were clueless of the fan switch or wanted me to come in so they could do the work and programming themselves. Good news and “bad” news. Gave dealer in Indiana the part # and they had one im stock for $38! Went and picked it up, had to unplug pre-existing switch since all slots were taken. Plugged it in and it threw a couple fault codes-but the switch still worked with turning on and off my fan!! I will still get it programmed eventually to clear the codes. But im just glad that my truck will no longer overheat going up steep grades. I think the root of my issue is the coolant temp sensor isn’t telling the fan to kick on when it reaches 224 degrees or w/e. Thanks again for the video!! Btw my truck is a 2010 Cascadia Stay safe out there on the road drivers!

I have a DDDL question: All 2015 Cascadias have "Manual" transmission mode when you press middle button of the shifter (press and hold) and some 2015 cascadias have whats called "performance" mode (quick press, no hold, if you hold it goes into "manual"). My current truck doesn't have "performance", only "manual", I was told by dealers mechanic it has to be turned on in DDDL, do you know where it is?
compadre esa mesmo ruido tenia el bus que yo manejo y si me di cuenta que es por que el dashboard panel es de otro motor y el computer no lee la senal y dice check engine, pero yo lo elimine con simplemente mover el positivi wire y le puse tape electrico y asi ando el bus por casi 2 anios ya!
when you climing a hill before the hill you turn the fan and keep the engine cool. Instead of waiting untill gets to the temperature so it can activate

Necesito tu dirección del taller Francisco, vivo en Texas pero podría ir a California para que tu repararas mi camión, es un freingliner cascadia DD15 y me gustaría agregar ese botón para que el ventilador funcione manualmente también. guys DDEC 13 A &I manual says if you connect 2/2 and 2/13 cavities on cpc the fan will go on...no reprogramming, no laptop needed 😀😀😀 much easier than trought msf
