One thing to remember is that disconnect wires = fan on= switch off. Also, I found out that my coolant filter was clogged with oil, just replaced oil cooler, seal & two O rings.
It does matter which wire you use, I tried it, and did not work,, one wire has power the other does not, attach the switch to the power wire , and it works.
