I'm loving the Classic more and more. It's come so far since I started following your channel on video 1. I can only imagine how excited you are about everything you've done. You should absolutely be proud of it. You're making sure it stays in excellent shape to make you that money! Hope you're doing good, Armin!
can I give you some advice and save u alot of grief. get a can of kleenflow antiseize compound and put that on all nuts and bolts especially if you may have to go there again. especially on exhaust manifold bolts. l know l'm a mechanic and it saves alot of time & money when things twist off and you have to drill and tap stuff.
Hey 👋 love your videos. I been trying to buy this manifold from PAI but they telling me to buy from them I got to a distributer. Can u please send the distributer you used so I could order it. Thanks bro… keep making great videos and helping
I. Know this is a yr old. But how does it perform. And all those diecast manifold suk. I just took off factory manifold on a 2005 magnum RT caz it warped and broke the stud. So a set of shorties took its place. That manifold looks nice..
hey trucker ak love the channel. was wondering info on your truck with landstar just had interview and they said truck has to be 2001 eld complaint ..what is yours thanks and keep up the good work
Exhaust temperature (egt). Not coolant temperature. That is preset by ecm or stats depending on year and setup. Either way the exhaust manifold isn't going to change the coolant temperature. Just EGTs. I run a full tilt manifold on my detroit.
@@TruckerAK yea maybe in a perfect world it might lol have to always take what they say with a grain of salt. Guys that do the marketing are not drivers or mechanics lol
Hi Trucker AK , I have a 2005 Detroit Diesel 14.0L and I haven't been able to figure out which of these would be the best fit, 681125HP or 681127HP so maybe you have the knowledge that can help me on that? Thank you in advance !!!
For my experience full tilt is way better I installed one on my Detroit 12.7 with a stage 1 borg warner turbo and I love it but is all depends on how much you want to spend.
No one compared the size of the ports which give better air flow as well as smooth inside the manifold I look on you tube no one has compared it to stock manifold pai or Pdi
Just double checking, was the total kit $800? Or was that just the manifold? Also, I contacted PAI to check cost and they were not able to help me since I am not a dealer. Do you know who I could purchase the kit through? Thanks for your time.
Man my experience with PAI was a freaking disaster. I called them after seeing your vid and told them I wanted an exhaust manifold for my 2015 Columbia. Even gave them the engine serial number. The guy gave me the part number and price so I approved the purchase. M&D Distributors is who shipped it and low and behold it was the wrong freaking part. Because the old manifold and gaskets came off and there's a freaking month out on a gasket kit I had no choice but to use the new hardware to button up my truck. Called PAI and a clueless rep lady couldn't even pull up the P.O. number. Luckily M&D Distributors is working with me to figure this out. They told me to contact the distributors from now on when ordering parts.
600 is cool but diesel control service now does a 3 program ECM, matched to your engine. Turn a knob and you can have any power rating from 430hp, all the way up to 780hp. I have 430, 550 and 720.
I slapped a 171702 on my S60 12.7L without additional "tune" and I noticed my boost dropped from max 35psi on waste gated stock, to 30psi max. ..... What gives? 🤔
@@johnkovac4436 I already fixed that. It was the 3-piece exhaust manifold leaking. Once I swapped in the 1-piece from PDI .... No more exhaust leaks. I hit 35psi easy. Fuel econ @ 7.5mpg IFTA now even with 43.5K in the reefer box
When you going to the light work on your on truck yourself instead of being in a hurry to talk about what a person need to do lead by example instead of letting your buddy do your work right.
