A Sunday railfanning the S-Line from Tampa to Waldo and back, I catch an auto rack train, three through freights, one rock and one grain train.

It was quite a refreshing sight to see a grain train without the customary markings of vandals paintings on the side of the cars. Great video as usual!

Great video, can't wait to see more about the S-Line and other's around there. It's very sad about Wildwood, I see that for myself everyday here in Auburn, WA. The BN yard here used to be the biggest and busiest in the all the Northwest, now its nothing more than a crew change point and some minor MOW work.

This is one of your best videos yet! I really like the shots and info in this video. We have our fair share of grain elevators in the area, numerous of them owned by Murphy Brown, and a majority have their own locomotives to help switch trains. Said operation can take upwards of a couple hours and block the main most of the time.

You caught a rare leader locomotive painted white which is an SD-40 EMD noted by two holes in the truck frames between the axles, if the engine has a lager than normal platform on each end it marks it as an SD-40 or a SD40-2 if it has three holes between axles in the truck frames. Cheers!

Did you ever here the cause of the previous derailment? In your talk of Wildwood and what previously was you speak of the ice house and I commented to you about about an icing facility in a previous video. My question do you have any old video or still shots of the facilities before they were tore down. I don't know how long you have been rail fanning, actually you are creating video history for all of us to enjoy for years. And I would like to say a very fine job of it at that. Also Danny would you know what is done if a refrigerated car quits operating is it cut out some where and mechanics sent to that location or are they unloaded to trucks to save the load, it would be interesting to know. Do you also know how these cars are monitored for their correct operation to know when they go down? Perhaps some type of satellite uplink or manually checked?? In your talk of the grain train you say it will be completely unloaded in one day. Do the CSX engines stay with this train and continuously move them to unload? Or do they leave another engine at this site which means they would be providing the manpower unless robotically controlled? Or does the grain dealer have their own engine on site to advance the cars? It would be nice to see one of your drone views of the site sometime to see if it's made up like I've seen other large facilities up north here that I've seen on Google Maps with a circular track layout? I like to look up and follow rail lines all over the country in this manner and could do it for hours if I had the time as I love the greatness of our railroad system even though it was way more vast 50, 60, 70 years ago. Danny once again you have outdone yourself on this excellent video and I love seeing the respect you get from other fans or enthusiasts like you that see and meet you. You are one of the best and should be very proud of your work. Personally I wish you worked for "TRAINS" magazine but then I wouldn't get all of this good work to see here. Have you ever thought of writing an article for the magazine on train watching or following or fanning? I think you would do an excellent job of it if you could put your words into writing as easily as you narrate your videos. But don't let me distract you from your true passion, it's just an idea to think about. Love your great work!
