Spain is the same. Small business are treasured here and nobody likes the big chain stores, they work hard to protect family businesses. It’s what makes Europe special.
We had an apartment in Paris for two weeks in 2011. Just outside the door to the apartment building was a local bakery. I was there every day at 1600 when the pain au chocolate came out. Loved the experience.
@@Brandon_letsgo My wife and I were in Paris in June.....Out of the literally 100s of Parisians we met and interacted with, maybe three were anything less than friendly and only ONE waiter was what I'd call 'rude'.
Great video. It's always so much cooler when it's the locales that tell people what is going on where they live instead of an outsider. Keep up the good work. Greetings from Southamerica and Happy 2024
This video is great. As an American who watches a lot of Paris videos this is the most real experience you can get of Paris. Thank you for making this. You and your friend are hilarious. Please make more videos!
Fantastic Lucile, thank you. I'll echo some of the other folks who have commented below . . .this really makes me want to visit Paris sooner rather than later.
really like the city of Paris, especially the Eiffel Tower, you can tell right away that it is a famous and historical city, and I always dream of traveling to France.
Lucile, as my Partner is from Versailles I am in France a Lot, I Love your Videos and adore the French ♥️ The Best Croissant and Pain au chocolat I have Ever had and I have had many is at Maison Lenôtre if you haven’t tried them from Lenôtre I promise you that you are missing out. We have one in Parly Deux in Les Chesnay so have them All the time. Heaven 😋♥️ Love your Charming videos
I'd suggest to reserve a table in a French Culinary school too, for lunch or for dinner! That's where futur chefs are trained and get their diplomas! The price are not as high as restaurants ones and the food are very good!
Excellent review. My wife and I have to (one day) come to Paris. I have to brush up on my French if I want to check out the neighborhoods outside of the tourist areas. Thank you for your youtube post and the food you showed to is. Yummmmm!
Thank you so much for watching, I hope you and your wife can come to Paris soon! :) And do not worry, I've seen my local baker speak English and people understand the universal language of smiling while pointing at stuff :D
Thanks for the video. My daughter is in Paris, and sent me a picture of the crepes she had . I'm watching food videos of Paris, and this is a good one.
Oh my gosh I am 53 and I need to find a way to get there this year. I grew up in Quebec, Canada similar foods but not Paris. Thanks for sharing your videos I am now starving 😂😂❤❤
Definitely all the bakeries there are amazing but you can't ever go wrong going to all the amazing smaller restaurants where the menu keeps changing with the seasons, they go right to the farmers to get fresh produce and meat. Honestly if I could only go to one province in Canada for me there is no question it would be Quebec the people also are very friendly. :)
As an Argentinian, I grew up eating mostly Italian-style food (nearly 60% of Argentinians of European descent have Italian roots) that includes some very nice pastries and sweets but nothing prepared me for this culinary feast. I was tempted to lick the screen! 😁😁 I have just discovered your videos and I am very glad I did. You are very charming (très française) Regards. Claudio PS: Regards to Camille who is lovely and fun.
Paris is very walkable and the local food options are amazing and the ingredients are fresh... for Macaron I was told LaDuree is good ? I am sure tourists for Olympics will enjoy the amazing city ... My fav are the walks across city and the Museum LaDorse.. my fav so far...Pate sandwich is my fav .. with cheese and pickle...
