@frontenac5083 you don't need to have formal qualifications to teach French. I grew up in Canada and all my formal classes in school amounted to nothing, I've learn much more by immersing myself in videos like the ones Elisa makes.

@Beaudile bon observation (c'est vrai qu'elle problament n'est pas une prof licenciée), mais cette chaîne est très excellente pour la promotion et la motivation des personnes qui veulent apprendre la langue française.

Et ne vous inquiétez pas, vous pouvez dire de quelqu'un qu'il est un "bon professeur" même si ce n'est pas son métier (pour dire que cette personne vous explique bien les choses qu'elle peut vous apprendre). Mais c'est à utiliser comme "expression". Dans le même style d'expression, vous pouvez dire à une personne qu'elle a été "a bonne école" si elle est devenue qualifiée dans un domaine, alors que l'on ne parle pas d'une "vraie" école. ( Exemple : Tu es devenu fort au football. Avec ces entraineurs, tu étais à bonne école. )

Great French lesson. I’m also surprised to have just now noticed, because of this video, how many words in English have a T pronounced as an S. Learned as a kid and never thought twice about it. Hopefully my French will get to this level of unconsciousness 😊

I learned French at school in the 1970s and 1980s, and the tuition was terrible (but they did teach me from age 6, so I learned it better than many others). Many years later I started to learn Spanish using the Michel Thomas audio course, and he immediately points out that there are some 1200 words that end '..tion' in English that are essentially the same in Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese. It means that there are 1200 words that one already knows in four other Romance languages. But I'm sure the French introduced 'traduction' just to be difficult! Now, WHY don't they teach you this sort of thing at school?

there;s also romanian language who can joint to, a lot of words we share because of the latin root , and even more in relationship between french and romanian, romanian has been influenced totaly by french in its early stages of founding.

C'est normal, ces mots viennent du latin. ITE' =itas - itatis ; TION = tio - tionis ; TiEL = tialis - tialis : AL = alis - alis ; ENCE = entia - entiae ; AIRE = arius - arii ; BLE = bilis - bilis ; IQUE = icus - ici ; ENT = entis - entis .

Merci Elisa. J’ai répété chaque mot après vous, et c’était du bon entraînement de la prononciation française. Je vais essayer de participer en votre “live” demain, si je peux l’organiser avec mon boulot. Un anglophone, je pense, doit toujours exagérer le “r” français, du fond de la gorge.

Elisa peux-vous s'il vous plaît faire une vidéo sur les mots similaire a anglais et comment dire les mots par exemple beaucoup les mots finir en "tion" en anglais peut-être vous avez déjà fait. Je sais pas ou je ne trouve pas cette vidéo. j'ai regardé tout ton vidéo mais je ne trouve pas. j'ai écouté un vidéo avant qui disait tout les mots ca finir avec "tion" en anglais sont Français. Ce que est toujours surprenant pour moi comme un polonais c'est la quantité des mots français qu'on utilise au quotidienne sans même s'en rendre compte. La langue français a-t-une longe histoire de prestige social en Pologne et même maintenant on l'utilise dans quelques documents officials. Comme le mot "cauchemar" (pl. koszmar) par example, qui me casé le cerveau la premiere fois que je l'avait entendu. Et aussi en l'argo polonais l'influence français est visible. Par example: On dit "Idziemy w plener", ça veut dire qu'on va boire un coup dehors, dans un parc etc. Et récemment je me suis rondu compte que le mot "plener" ça viens de français "plain aire". Ya autant des choses comme ça que je découvre pendant mes études que touts mes amis deja savent ce que je suis en train de dire quand je commence avec "est-ce que vous savez que le mot ....... ça vient de... donc TL:DR: parler polonais ça aide beaucoup aussi avec le vocabulaire :P

@@frontenac5083 Why would need any qualifications? She teaches French so she’s a teacher :p I’ve learned 4 languages. And all my best teachers had 0 qualifications. They’ve usually got a better, more relaxed approach, untainted by the antiquated way of language learning that’s being taught to all those receiving the “qualifications” that you’re so fond of. :P

Biensûr, l'allemand est une langue germanique - et beaucoup plus que l'anglais avec sa segonde racine romande -, mais même en allemand on trouve des systematiques qui proviennent du latin, par exemple les terminaisons -thek, -tion, - em, -or, -ismus, - -tät, -ieren et beaucoup plus. Néanmoins, etymologiquement les mots sont d'une racine différente ( publique = öffentlich, probable = wahrscheinlich, diferente = anders, suggest = vorschlagen ), on trouve plus des similarités qu'on pense.

You spelt organisation incorrectly in your list. In English it is spelt the same as in French, however, you spelt it with a ‘z’. This would be correct for US English but you had the British flag on display so I assume you were demonstrating UK English as opposed to US English in which case organisation is spelt with an ‘s’.

Quand j’apprennais l’italien, à cause du français, je n’ai jamais reussi a dire “uscire” e je disait toujours “sortire” 😅. Et je faisait la conjugaison!! “Ho sortito” 😂😂. D’après quelques temps mon prof ne me corrigeait plus, il savait déjà ce que j’essayais à dire.
