Hi, Michael. That's what I thought. I didn't trust my ears. I wasn't sure. The problem is : I would not translate "du bois" like that. I would translate "du bois" : "some wood" I would translate "of wood" : "de bois" or "en bois". So... she made a mistake I tried to fix ! 😉 Thanks for your message and thanks for watching.

Somewhat off topic, I suspect that this poor film lost money at the box office because it was released only 2 years after the end of World War II & the rest of the world still hadn't economically recovered. The producers also probably had hoped the domestic box office would be higher from military veterans going to college on the G.I. bill "The film was a box office disappointment, earning $2,545,000 in the US and Canada and $411,000 elsewhere, recording a loss of $7,000"
