French Riviera - WHERE The Wealthy Spend THEIR Holidays 

The French Riviera (known in French as the Côte d’Azur) is known as the place where rich and famous people spend their holidays. It is a region that stretches along the Mediterranean coastline where small towns are located, many of them built as summer time accommodation for the wealthy tourists. The French Riviera has a micro climate in that the French Alps to the north protects the area from cold weather, and the location by the Mediterranean Sea provides 300 days of warm sunshine.
