As soon as I saw Emma had been on his show I internally rolled my eyes and thought "Oh I wonder why he invited specifically her on, hmmm.". And I want to be absolutely clear to avoid any misunderstanding here - I am saying that I believe Emma was invited onto the show by Tim because she's a beautiful woman who he was absolutely hoping he could hook up with and then probably drop it as a 'bombshell' next time he got his feelings hurt or was made to look stupid - "Oh it's so weird that you think I'm entirely wrong about so much Emma, because you thought I was entirely right about the way I did SEX when we were DOING IT.". But it's such a shame he was so oblivious to what's really worth having a crush on someone for. The part they don’t mention is that most of the men will entertain any woman on the app who will engage with them. They may not be interested in more than sex with her, but if I’m just looking to get laid and I know that is possible with almost every man on the app, why would I not hit up the hottest dudes for that? I mean that's definitely true, but I think dating apps get a bad rap.. they can be absolutely AMAZING for certain types of people. Like for me, I'm not a fan of approaching someone going about their day, and I don't get to the places (bars/clubs/events) where that kind of thing would be acceptable. I also have some social anxiety and that can get in the way. But if I can know right off the bat that the other person is [ostensibly] already potentially into me, I'm much happier. I think I've had 1000% more success using dating apps than I ever did IRL. For a while I was worried that there would only be shitty people on dating apps (or only people looking to hook up), but that has not been the case at all; I've met some really wonderful women.
