Clips from this show was already pulling me in...but now that I see Hsu Wei Ning in here from when I watched my Chinese dramas, IM DEFINITELY watching!
I fucking feel Louis on this one. When living in Asia is too easy, you move to America for the challenge. Have to battle no healthcare, expensive education, getting shot at and racism. Not to mention the bamboo ceiling.
Yeah moving to the USA as an Asian middle class always means life is downgrading, at least in the first couple of years. America is good for super rich (life is more enjoyable, more freedom) and super poors (easier to make more money than in Asia).
I am living in USA and was from Taiwan, I am not Taiwan rich and definitely not USA rich either. I guess I am kind of poor always live on paycheck after paycheck, don’t let your money Status affect how you feel. Peoples money status can always change but it doesn’t change our hearts❤. Going through difficult times can help us become kinder and more giving person because we understand what it takes without it.
Living in Taiwan ain’t cheap man, food and some local made might be cheaper but hell you won’t be able to afford that single apartment if you don’t have rich parents, and I am talking about ten years ago…😂
As an Indian south Asian ,let me make one thing ABSOLUTELY clear here .Asian american panels CONSISTENTLY ignore, exclude South Asians from panels despite the fact that the VPOTUS 's mother, Shyamala Gopalan, was a Tamil Indian biologist, whose work on the progesterone receptor gene stimulated advances in breast cancer research Asia is a VERY DIVERSE continent .
Put your head back in your ass. It’s not like Indian ever identify themselves as Asian before Indian anyway! Meanwhile most east and southeast Asian American would identify themselves as Asian American.
