Hello and Happy Thanksgiving my Friends, welcome to my Southern Kitchen!
Today I am making Whipped Cream from scratch; simple, easy, creamy, full of flavor, and once you make and taste this, you’ll never buy store-bought Whipped Cream again.
2 cups (1 pint) cold heavy whipping cream
4 heaping tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Ellen’s Magic: You may decrease the amount of powdered sugar, also you can add any kind of spices and flavorings (cinnamon, lemon, orange).
Place your bowl and beaters into the freezer so the whipped cream can stay cold.
In a large chilled bowl with a hand mixer and chilled beaters or stand mixer with chilled whip attachment, add in the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract; whip on low speed then on to high speed until it reaches stiff peaks for about 3 to 5 minutes. Serve with your favorite dessert and enjoy!
