Well, they are entitled to do what pleases them with these old tracks. They are ABBA. If she chooses to do her own mature version of this track it's completely up to her and her former bandmates. No need for permissions from fans/listeners. I do not mind this mature Frida version of the track at all. We all know the original, we've all listened to it hundreds of times. this song was originally written specifically with Frida in mind to showcase her voice. I see no reason why she should not sing it solo. It is beautiful.
for me is the original ABBA song, Frida solo singing, but this beautiful song as a whole is ABBA with Agnetha, the soprano in refrain brightens and adds another dimension as with all the ABBA songs ....... Это песня Фриды. Она ее исполняет соло великолепно. Агнета с ее бэк- вокалом не играет здесь никакой роли. Фрида сама справляется прекрасно до сих пор. Агнета вообще не умеет петь вживую, студийная поп-певица. Фрида с ее богатым вокальным диапазоном может петь все. Не надо приплетать всюду agneta. У Фриды, оказывается,столько великолепных песен до и после АББА.
