Hi! My name is Erika and welcome to my RU-vid channel. I've had this channel since 2009 but only started uploading regularly last year. I am a born and raised New Yorker. I've been a performer my whole life and in 2009 was offered the job of a lifetime - performing for Disney Cruise Line. Over three years with the company, I portrayed some of Disney's most beloved characters, danced my heart out, and met my husband! In 2013, I moved up to Toronto, Canada and studied for my full STOTT Pilates certification. Then, that summer, my husband and I got our first apartment on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, NY! In December 2013, my husband (then boyfriend) came home from his last ship contract and proposed! We got married at The Russian Tea Room in New York City on January 24th, 2015. We love adventure, and after 3 years living in Manhattan, in May 2016, we moved down to Celebration, Florida! In December 2016, I danced in the Macy's Holiday Parade at Universal Studios and had the time of my life! Although we've loved Florida, in May 2017, we moved back to New York to be closer to family and friends. In June 2017, we got the best news in the world - that we were expecting our first baby due March 2018. on February 28th, 2018 our little Hugo William was born. He is the light of our lives. PHEW.. So that's my story! I don't know what adventures lie ahead but I am SO excited to share them with all of you!

Try giving it a bit more time. We thought it didn't work at first but when we decided to leave it in a little longer, longer than we thought we'd need, we got the desired results. We now use this over gripe water.

Life saver for us! Our main concern was that if we used it too often our baby wouldn't be able to have normal BMs as they grew up but the pediatrician told us not to worry. Rest assured for anyone else who has this concern...our baby just turned 7months and she is having regular BM on her own at least 2-3x a day and I havent had to use the windi in months! The first few months of her life however we had to supplement neosure formula (preemie formula) with my breastmilk, if we didnt have to supplement then she was fine but as soon as we mixed the formula she was crying with gas pain. We used it once or twice a week if we noticed she was crying in pain and nothing else seemed to be working. At first it did not work for me either however when I inserted the windi and massaged her belly and did gentle bicycle kicks while tip was inserted you could hear the gas pass a lot more. Plus if she started to push I would massage her belly with the tip still inserted and more gas/poop would come out. I would definitely recommend this product to all the new parents

The Windi was a great relief for the baby and us parents. Our baby was constipated for a full day and his pediatrician recommended the gaspasser. It worked and seemed to not hurt or harm the baby.

My son exploded on me twice after using this when he was constipated! Works instantly too. Will say that the first time there was a big whistle but the 2nd time no whistle (both times lots of poop though) I think the difference in the whistle is that the 2nd time I get lots of bicycles kicks and tummy rubbing before using the device.

My dad me a trick to use on my son as an infant when my son was colicky. Rather than holding baby on baby to my chest and patting horizontally on his back, my taught taught me to pat vertically on his bum. It worked like a charm.

This not only relieved our colicky baby of gas but helped get his constipation moving on out. Lol. Keep a diaper underneath at all times lol

Folks … this thing is a lifesaver for constipation. Don’t give up after one try. Keep massaging the belly, bending the baby’s knees towards the belly, and continue to insert until the baby gets relief. It’s a God send!

First off we have the frida nose sucker and it’s amazing. Every parent should have one. We have a 1 month year old and she is very gassy. We have been using gripe water which has been calming but she isn’t having much bowel movement. Definitely going to go to Target tomorrow and to get the Windi.

Was skeptical but it seemed to work we heard lots of gas come out instantly. He was already crying before we did it but he seemed to calm down and actually sleep peacefully

I gave my baby apple juice first time & second time Karo syrup w water he’s two weeks almost 3 but neither works only make him fart more he usually goes but these past two days he’s been constipated I breastfeed him same thing not sure why he’s constipated but he’s passing gas and crying balling up so I brought this it’s not working for me or maybe I’m not using it long enough but I put it in & hear no whistling but I can see stool when I remove the windi

Please, please please do a little research on gripe water. It doesn't actually do anything, and is possibly dangerous for baby's digestion. As for the Windi, I love this thing. My daughter gets really bad only in the evenings. Everyone told us it was normal, but when my doctor saw her late one day, he said she was really uncomfortable and recommended this. She is instantly relieved. He also showed me a technique for passing her gas by pulling her knees to her abdomen, but this is preferred.

Personally my pediatrician said never to use gripe water that it contains trace amounts of alcohol that can effect and damage the babies brain and cause issues in digestion especially when used frequently. Although I have friends who’s pediatricians actually recommended gripe water so idk. Just wanted to share what my pediatrician said🤷🏽‍♀️

@@samanthaclark9479 I agree with your pedi I don't believe in giving anything to a baby and so many people believe that because its marketed as natural or whatever that it's perfectly fine to give a baby. There are a lot of natural things that are actually poison and would you hive that to a baby? I just think we trust these pharm companies too much. I remember back before gripe water people were giving their babies some pills that dissolve and come to find out it had trace lead in them. There is no regulations on anything classified at a vitamin or supplement so no FDA testing is done. That's scary. I also know a lot of pedi that tell parents to give their kids melatonin and they never research what melatonin can do to a child, it's not even suppose to be given to kids. Even when a doctor gives it to my kids I do research on it. I refuse to give my kids miralax as well.

Alkyl Dimethyl Benzyl Ammonium Chloride after i gave it to my baby yesterday she got so much pain. It was so hurtful for me to see her like that and it was my fault for giving her that gripe water.

What is traumatic is having a baby that can't get comfortable and is just screaming in pain. Believe me if this is your 1st kid this is not nearly as traumatic as things you will experience over the next 18 yrs. Lol my 1st born had a eye cold as a newborn, my cousin allowed her sick kids (didn't tell me they were sick) to touch all over my baby. Well he started having eye discharge and the doctor wanted to make sure it wasn't something serious because I still didn't know what my cousin had done, anyway he takes out a long qtip and inserts it into my sons eye. The entire white tip was in the corner of my newborn's eye socket I almost passed out. Yep that scared me for life but we got the diagnoses of it just being a cold in his eyes and I was relieved. It's been a long time since that happened and it wasn't even the worse thing at this point and after 6 kids.

My baby has been struggling to pass stool for 2 days now. You can see her straining to push out the stool and grunting and then crying. The last few times she did poo, her stools were hard. Will this help my baby? I’ve read reviews that it makes them poo almost instantly and that it should help constipation. I just wanna make sure before I buy this cause I really want her to feel relief

Try soy milk. Prosobee or Gerber Plant based. My grandbaby is 18 days old and we had to switch her to Gerber Plant based. Your daughter may be lactose intolerant. My granddaughter is. She's been pooping so much better. She wasn't going but once every other day. Now she has 2 good diapers a day atleast. But her gas is still bad sometimes but it's only been 72 hours since we switched her. Good luck. Please let me know if you find anything that helps. Also try some Karo Syrup. 1 teaspoon in each bottle for 2 days. No more than 2 days but that also helped her.

Why to irritate the child. It’s quite unpleasant for small babies. No one should use it. I am a child specialist I will never advise it. I have similar child health education channel on RU-vid
