Alex: "Let me see what I can build out of my collection." Cam: "That's adorable. I'm going to go trade for cards that aren't terrible." I tend to agree.
I agree with jeremy, sorting card is pretty zen, if you have nothing to do or is waiting for something, start looking through your rotatos, I guaranteed that those hours will tick by really fast
i'd take 20 bucks for sorting the cards reason one: sorting is very relaxing some times reason two: i could buy packs with the money reason three: im usually pretty bored so i'd have something to do
7:03 reminds me of when my friend shuffled away their approach of the second sun a while ago in standard from an evolving wilds, which also reminds me of when the same guy was stuck on lands and his evolving wilds got disallowed. Man, that shit was WILD.
Yup. A friend of mine brought back a $5 Canadian bill for me from her Toronto visit - we're kind of space nerds and the $5 has the Canadarm on it. I carry it in my wallet so I can show friends and we can geek out over the awesome money. On a more practical note, I admire that Canadian bills are easier for visually impaired individuals to use - kinda pissed that the U.S. Treasury Department hasn't caught up yet. Cheers.
You should get one of those theros holiday packs or whatever. It's 4 booster packs of theros and one big box of that PLUS a ton of really cool looking dividers. Definitely a good buy considering its only like 20 bucks.
1) This series is funny, but now that I started playing Magic, it's hilarious. 2) I started playing Magic thanks to LRR making it look like fun in these videos. 3) I sorted my rotatoes out of my deck a month or so ago already. 4) Hooray for another episode which passes the Bechdel Test!
So, when Alex shuffles away his miracle... Can he not just draw into it, then fetch for a shock? They're shocks for a reason. Or maybe he wasn't willing to take 3...
Quiet fun humor autumn feel to this episode not the best Friday Nights but still enjoyable. As a player in my late 20s definitely can relate to a tranquility that comes with many Magic cards and free time. Plus Kathleen looks great this episode Gram Stark you're a lucky man.
Back in Original Ravnica limited I once had an opponent play Congregation at Dawn EOT for Civic Wayfinder, Loxodon Hierarch and Golgari Rotwurm. All of this on Apprentice btw. The next turn he cast the Wayfinder. The turn after that he disconnected.
Despite never playing Magic the Gathering and knowing almost nothing this is still funny. I absolutely believe I am missing jokes, but not to a detrimental degree.
So when I first saw Kathleen put the money in the cup I thought that was Monopoly money because it was so much greener than American dollars. As an American I am both amused and embarrassed by this. >_
Moments where I cracked: 3:10 "The fu...?" expression on his face is priceless. 3:53 The 5 Stages of No: 1* Denial 2* Invigorated Denial 3* "Dude, GTFO" 4* "Seriously?" 5* Resignation. Nooo!... nooo..! ... nooooo.... best line in the video xD.
I cracked at the Goyf-part that starts at 4:07 and at the "and shuffle away your miracle ?" part at 6:55. The Goyf-part is soo true, btw. With half my brews including Green, I go "hm, I just need a finisher", and it almost always ends up with Goyf, and I don't own any . . . dmn.
Haha I feel the same as you. And the top tutor part, I fucked that up with shuffles so many damn times, especially because I play EDH with lotsa tutors.
I really enjoy organizing my collection but when they show just a long box or two it makes me realize I have too many cards. I have long boxes just for non creature artifacts.
Oh god. OH GOD. Graham... I just got done sorting my bin of cards. I’m more of a Pokémon player... but... it still took me 4 whole days to sort the same exact mess. This brought back some bad memories. Especially of the spiders. Thought my daughters tarantula was dead. It is fine. What was I talking about?
