This is personally my favorite score of the entire franchise but fans of both the film and its music you should remember that a large part of Part 3's music was largely recycled music from Parts 1 and 2 but Manfredini wrote the finale music. This is the ORIGINAL score written for Part 3 and features absolutely no music from the first 2 films. This definitely has to be some of the BEST string music EVER written for a horror film and after the scores for the first 3 movies going unreleased for over 30 years it's amazing to finally be able to enjoy this on its own outside of the film courtesy of LaLaLand Records. Due to the length of the suite I am forced to split it up into 2 parts. The link for the second video is below. I hope you all enjoy!

I love this. The people who make the Friday the 13th movies need to realize that THIS music is all they need. THIS is the Friday the 13th music we all know and love.

Chris: i don't know what kind of Game you guys are playing but i dont like it. come on you guys your wrecking the house. Chris walks into the Bath Room and finds Debbie's Bloody sweater in the tub filled with water. Chris runs down the stars Chris: Rick, (Sighs). Chris runs out of the cabin and walks towards the barn. the wind blows hardly. Chris: Rick. Loco's Dead body falls from the Tree in front of Chris, She Screams and runs back into the Cabin.

Parts 1 - 4 had mostly the same reused score, but that's fine by me since I like those movies' score the best. Manfredini changed it up somewhat by part 6, which is fine, refreshing. But still, I prefer the score of the earlier films. It's better and creepier.

No. They all had distinctly different scores. They are similar in vibe, but all quite different. In my opinion, part 3 is the best, but people dont realize it becuz that goofy disco song is played. I wish it wasnt. As it stands, part 2 is my favorite, but part 3 would be, had he written an original piece for the intro. I mean nondisco. I love his violin work.

1 through 4 did in fact use a lot of the same music. It was just rearranged here and there, with music cues in different places and such. The one bit that I always liked was the piece from part 1 when Marcie gets the axe in the face. Manfredini used that piece quite a few times, especially in Part 3, when Harold gets the cleaver, and when Andy gets sliced in half doing his handstand. It was when he scored Jason Lives is where the music was totally different in tone and feel. Same with the atmosphere of that film as well in regards to cinematography.

I agree here, although 1 and 3 used a very similar score, whilst 2/4 had a deeper tone to it. Part 1 and 3 shared a lot of the same "tracks", while 2 had deeper, faster cello tracks (sheriff chasing Jason a good example). ,

I liked in pt 6 was when he would pop up somewhere the scary music had a level of “SURPRISE MOTHERFUCKER” when the trumpets/ went up

I hate to say this because I love all the Friday the 13th movies but the music from the first 4 were was so creepy. It really made the movies scarier. I know they had to change things up for part 5 but the newer music had a different vibe. The high pitch piccolo sound in part 5's music is too happy sounding. Part 6 had the high pitch childrens piano, definitely not scary. It's ok though, Mr. Manfredini is a genius so this is just my opinion. WE NEED A NEW MOVIE Mr Cunningham and Mr. Miller. Let bygones be bygones please

The original Friday the 13th song is under appreciated alot don't consider it in the top horror scores but I actually think it's good not the best by far but definitely not appreciated as much as others
