The one time I rented and drove an Altima, I was on 99SB out of Bakersfield heading for the grapevine at one point I glanced at my speed and I was almost 100 without realizing it. The ride was so smooth and I was going with the flow of traffic. After that I kept a better eye on the speed. Pretty common to see 80-85 up the hill there which is about where I kept it and amazingly I still hit almost 40mpg. Not sure what those cars have but I was impressed. I think the one I drove was a 2013 or 14, just a rental but impressive performance overall.
For criminal speed I’m not going to make my prosecution easy by admitting guilt at the side of the road. So it’s easier to say I wasn’t looking than “fuck off im pleading the 5th”
