Option #2 for your toile of the sundress will be perfect in my eyes, Sam! The cornflower blue is beautiful! On second thought, maybe you should save that fabric for after you’ve perfected the fit. 😊 Can you tell how much I like it?! 😘

Morning Sam, lovely chatty refreshing Friday Sews as always. When you held up the purple, white and black fabric (option 3) the fabric looked stunning against your face… I think it really suits you. Maybe you could take a photo of yourself with the fabric draped on you and you might decide to use it…. I’m going to make a Mave skirt with my BTPD, have you thought about that one?
I enjoy every vlog that you do, Sam and am really enjoying the Sewing Bee series. It’s lovely to watch a chatty Friday Sews, I’ve missed this style of vlog. Love the pink strawberry dress. I think the blue fabric for the sundress would look amazing.
Aaw Sam 😊 another lovely video. I’m so, so pleased you had so many lovely and interesting pressies I adore the teacup, so fun 😅 I think the fabric for the sun dress has to be number 2 doesn’t it ? I also agree with what you said about the BTPD fabric as being a bit overwhelming to wear all over and I think something like palazzo pants would be good because you need to keep it’s extreme busy pattern and dramatic colours away from your face. I’ll be interested to see what you do make though and look forward to that in the future. So looking forward to seeing your finished bomber jacket too. Lovely vlog Sam, Fabric from Eco-Bee would be fantastic as shirt dress for atumn I have same fabric just in blue. I am planning basic shirt in it. For your summer dresses I think second fabric would be fantastic Re subscription box fabric fro BTPD would be fantastic as a summer robe.

The blue for the sundress. I have had this pattern for a long time and I did make it( it went in the bin!) I wasn’t as skilled then and I found the instructions confusing. But you have inspired me to try again. I think I got the size completely wrong then, too, which didn’t help.
