Hi Sam. Christine of The Gemini Stitcher has the black colourway, and although she is valiantly trying to talk herself into loving the black colourway, she was quite disappointed originally to not get the pink, since it's her signature colour. So maybe check with her and see if she wants to trade.

I'm still newish, but I've been sewing for about a year or so, and I still put my machine on the slowest speed for some things, so I relate to Mr. Sparkles feeling like he's going too slow when he's seen how fast sewing can be. Just want him to know that he's got lots of company in the slow sewists club. 🙂 His basket came out so well!
