I'm sorry to hear it. Just a regular flour. The brand is Bulgarian, but the recipe works with everything I believe. In order for them to become crispy, they must be immersed in water and immediately afterwards in hot frying oil.

@@juditrea1512 thank you so much, Judit! And sorry that this recipe didn't turn out right! I really don't know what could be the reason. Another important things are that the courgettes should be thinly sliced and the oil is well heated. Also they have to be placed one by one in the oil and not a large amount at a time.

I tried this and the flour didn’t bubble like this at all, and they were brown… they were good but I don’t know why mine were so different (I used the water)
