Hy i am from Belgium i am 13 years old and i've learned englinsh by watching video's sometimes i don't understand each word but i undersand this whole video we really need to change because if we are not gping to change i may never be a grandmother
Nous devons vraiment changer. Cela est allé trop loin. We moeten echt veranderen.
That's one of the most amazing videos I've seen in a while 😳 Finally someone who talks about a serious problem in a simple language, so even children at the age of 14 would understand the most of it. Huge respect!
Dude, it's straight up brainwashing political activism. You see this type of brainwashing everywhere there is totalitarian reach for control, bit governments, and profits.
@@henrikknibergLike I've been trying to make the climate change information easier to consume for my peers but wow, this is on point. I'll be using it for my awareness presentation at my school. I love, love love
once i my lifetime that i have seen this kind of masterpiece! Great Explanation and detail! You just unlock all my closed-mind about climate change in one video! absolutely superb!! I am from Cambodia!
Awesome! As a high school science teacher, climate activist and carbon tax advocate, I will use this video a lot. I love your all-inclusive, contribute what you can contribute approach. You also very gently touch on a lot of the hot button political issues in a way that diffuses the challenges. Wonderful job!
Then I'll be down to speak with the Superintendent and school board about your politics in the classroom. But if you'll teach science instead of politics, you won't have a problem. For instance, what is the correct amount of CO2 needed in the atmosphere?
I've been scared of climate change for so long, thinking it's the end of the world, but this video gave me hope for the future. We still have a long way to go but there are still so many things we can do about the problems we're facing. Thank you for this video
Don't worry Dylan. You've been brought up on this type of political activism to promote control and profits for the few. CO2 is not pollution, it is nutrition. The Industrial Age may have saved life on planet earth by stopping the loss of CO2 which was dangerously low back in 1880. Check it out. Ask questions. Don't accept being spoon fed politics instead of science. I am old and so have seen many waves of the next great political activism in my life. This is the current one and you will see it ebb and be replaced by another one. Meanwhile, your life will go on. This will turn out alright.
@@irchristo actually increasing the CO2 levels does not increase the growth rate of plants. At the best maybe one or 2%. But what CO2 is really doing is a strapping so much heat it's trapping roughly 17 x 10 to the 20th Jewels heat energy that when it's reabsorbed in the world's oceans that heat energy is equivalent of 5 Hiroshima atomic bombs per second if you look on the website show your stripes. Info you will see that every year every warming bar is getting darker and redder that indicates a rapid increasing rate of temperature change
That's the idea. Keep people afraid to control them. Worked with cvd and they are using the scheme again. By the time people realise what is really going on, the trap would have sprung! Wake up!
Political solutions require broad public understanding of the problem and the solutions. No mean feat to provide comprehensive information in a watchable format. Well done!

Hi Henrik, Thanks for your pragmatic great video. As being part of a energy work stream in our neighborhood - we surely will share this video to stimulate people more to reduce their energy consumption and invest in green energy. Regards Marc
@@henrikkniberg Welcome to worldwide bankruptcy. "Investing in green energy" will cause much more damage to our environment and "More people reducing energy consumption" will cause a cascade of major bankruptcies around the world. These ideas are very good, but they won't work while we live by this idiotic "kill" directive: "Profit=income-expenses". Everything that we get i.e., our profit, comes to us from the environment. Doesn't it strike anybody else as being odd that the dictionary definition of 'profit doesn't, directly, mention the word 'environment'?
One of the easiest and best explained video about climate change I've watched in a long time. Why use difficult words/figures when easy explanation makes things so much better. Thank you!!! I will share this with all my students. 👏🏻😁✌🏻
Can we get some more videos like this? We need this kind of simple explanation.. Please give us some more videos like this .. Together we have to save our mother earth.
Please do more of this type of videos. My son who is 6 years old loves it and able to understand clearly. Thank you so much. Really appreciate your work.
Admirations for the ability to acquire knowledge and distribute it in an contagiously inspiring way. I have the chance to work with more than 200 kinds in a highly polluted town, especially in winter because of the coal burnt for heating houses. This video is a firm ground for firing a bring-consciousness discussion at our school which kids, hopefully, will continue at their homes.
Awesome video, however I think you missed out on the key thing suggested by IPCC: Nuclear power. Especially Gen IV. Solar, wind and other are not zero emission, when you do a life cycle analysis. Then Nuclear is better than any and nuclear has also lowest number of deaths per produced kilowatt. Gen IV can consume waste from current nuclear power plants and are being built in many countries and the fastest way to reduce CO2 emission. Germany who are going the opposite direction and just focusing on "renewable" are actually producing much more CO2 than before also the costs and risking them to fall back on coal.
Excellent point about the life cycle analysis. Most people don't realize that 'renewables' like wind mill farms are in reality subsidized by fossil fuels. Have you seen a steel mill running on solar power...
@@HickW David is pointing out Gen IV. You re-use the old nuclear waste in that system and this means that Sweden can run all power we need for over 100years without having to get any new uranium and only use the shit we got stored as waste right now. This is why IPCC says it's the best option, at least in Sweden.
When the real deluge of weather, flooding, major fires, and continental shifting sets in, nuclear power will be at the mercy of all of these problems. Nuclear disasters, plurel, will be the worst part of the problem. 💔💔
Brilliant video! Great selection of information, pacing, mood, everything. A couple of small points. Your graph shows CO2 exceeding the historic range in 1950, but it passed the 300 ppm threshold in 1910 (search "Global Mean CO2 Mixing Ratios (ppm): Observations"). Good to mention lamb as well as beef (at least for Australian viewers). And when you mention CCS you could add that we'll need it to bring atmospheric CO2 back to safe levels, because (important point) cutting emissions to zero is just the first step.
Thanks, great feedback! Probably won't update the video (waaay too time consuming), but I'll create some kind of addendum/corrections. Will definitely add these points there.
Truly a great presentation Constructive and optimistic For the sake of survival, the mind of humanity needs to be educated on the reality of this matter and the heart of humanity needs to become passionate to make a change The stubborn machine of industry must be stopped in its tracks and be held accountable. That can only be achieved if everyone gets involved

Hi Henrik, I think this video is one of the best I've seen! I translated the subtitles to Hebrew but the option to add subtitles is not available anymore. Do you want me to send you the Hebrew transcript?
Hi, sorry for the delay! Looks like google is removing the community translation feature. No problem though, if you send me a link to the translation file I can upload it. You can email me at my first name dot last name @crisp.se Here are the supported file formats: support.google.com/youtube/answer/2734698?hl=en
You have explained it amazingly, allow me please to translate it in hindi so we can spread the awareness in India's rural areas so we can participate to reduce control burning fossil fuel and to move towards Bio energy or renewable energy
Great video. Thank you for respecting your audience by not making them the villain of the story. I believe that the method used to spread a message is as important as the message itself and you delivered the message in a non- confrontational and informative manner. Question: What is the program you use for you animation?

It's brilliant! I mean the way (form) of information conveying and the impact level of this video! I would like to translate it into Russian language cause majority of Russians has a bit conservative mindset when it comes to using alternative sources of energy
Thanks for the offer! Russian subtitles are already done (click the gear icon), but feel free to do a voice dub if you are interested. In that case I'll be happy to link to it from here.
Thank you so much for this presentation, absolutely amazing, have an assignment on this didn't have a clue what Climate change is about, now I'm so confident about my assignment I will bring an A+, sincerest gratitude to you!
I think your work is awesome! I will share in my little group of followers and friends. I share the point evryone can make a small step to solve any little or big problem we face. Thanks.
Thanks for putting this in the creative commons so it can be shared with everyone. I love the simplicity of explanation that covers complicated concepts. The links are amazing too!
Thanks a lot for that great educated video, which is important for all peoples on the world. Everyone should change his/her behavior to be more friendly to environment
Awesome video Henrik! As with all other visualization you create, this explains an extremely important and difficult problem in a very easy way. I hope it goes viral. /Andreas
