On August 8th 2019 I was on a whale watching trip off of Tofino BC when the boat was approached by a juvenile humpback whale. The whale stayed with the boat for over half an hour while rolling around, spy hopping, rubbing against the boat, and watching us from under the water. The whale was identified as HW-MN0510376.

I take the view, Humpbacks are the most gentle wild giants in Nature. Yes they can get angry, if humans get too close in case there are babys arround but generally they take care, not to hurt anybody.
