I agree, alot of these kind of videos 'spreading awareness' and trying to 'help' are not realistic. This one seems like it's much more from a teenagers point of view rather than an adult who hasn't dealt with it.

Kids there nothing wrong with being hugged by someone you like but if someone tries to touch in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable THATS NO GOOD! it’s your body nobody has the right to touch you if you don’t want them too FIRST YA SAY NO THEN YOU GET OUT OF IT!
The thing is: Its NORMAL for kids and teens to crush on adults. That does not give the adult the permission to go for it. As adults we have to be safe for children. That includes not hitting on children just because they might like us???? People have to understand this!

Definitely. My teacher had to let me down easy because of this. I never admitted it but it was obvious I want to pursue a relationship and since they’re only 9 years older I didn’t see it as a problem. I thought I’m 15, in three years I’ll be 18 that’s not that far. Now, I’m glad they didn’t take advantage of me.

I was sexually abused by my uncle and I told my family, my aunt wanted nothing to do with me and I wasn't allowed to see my cousins. My family didn't support me. About 5 years later I found out he was doing it to my sister. Now my parents finally wanna listen to me and now there is so much going on and I feel so alone.
For all the younger people who like an older person.. It’s completely normal for a minor to like an older person. BUT, remember, you can’t act on it because it’s illegal and you (mostly the adult in question) could get in serious trouble.
It depends on what ages we are talking about... Biologically it is normal to find people attractive who are out of puberty. And if the age gap is less then 5 years it's also not weird at all...
the only time they try to "raise awareness" in my highschool is by putting literally the smallest poster they can find that says things like "if you feel alone, you're not. Talk to us" and when ppl do end up talking to the counselors, they end up making the student feel guilty and embarrassed
@@ishmio3967 Yeah. And the worst is that they think that perverts see those posters and automatically stop hurting their victims, and with time they forget about the topic and do nothing. Also, talking to a counselor isn't useful sometimes, they just say "get over it" or make it public immediately (the problem with it is that before any action is taken on the abuser, making the case public makes that person and other people start bullying you, and making you feel even more ashamed). Some other factors like reputation or money might also be involved.
Man, this has got to be the worst town ever. You couldn’t throw a rock in the town without hitting a dangerous sexual predator in positions of power, all the sexually abused kids are thrown into the same class assisted by *another* sexual predator, and there's never any indication that these predators face legal punishments.

I think that's part of the point, to show that behind the scenes at least everyone has experienced abuse one way or another and how common it happens. We just aren't aware of it.

@Odaliz Orozco-Rueda no thanks. Repenting is just a reminder that while what happened isn't your fault, others will blame you. That your god will blame you for something you had no control over and will put you in hell for it. Praying has helped me personally, but I'm Kemetic. To you, my god (Anubis) will seem like a devil. But he has helped me through. You can't push things on others and expect them to believe it, just as I can't you. So if praying helps, by all means do it. But don't repent for something that isn't your fault.
The point of this series is to make you aware that stuff like this happens everywhere, all the time. It can happen to anyone and you should always be on the lookout for red flags.
So I’m in 7th grade. My girlfriend is in show choir at my school, and so are a few of my friends. Now there’s this guy, I’ll call him Jim for privacy reasons. A few years back, me and him hated each other because he bullied me, but we ‘made up’ and I tolerated him since we were both on my school’s drum line in band. So Jim is also in show choir. We were playing for my school’s soccer championship game, when my girlfriend walks up to me, and tells me that at a show choir competition the night before, Jim walked into the girls room while they were changing. Now, for some reason, you had to go through the girls room to get to the men’s room. And the director or whatever you would call them, told the boys NOT to leave the boys room until all the girls were done.. obviously. Now Jim didn’t walk in and realize his mistake, apologize, and go back. He sat down, and tried to talk to them. They yelled at him to leave. He wouldn’t. Eventually an adult stepped in and they made him go back. No punishment whatsoever. I was shocked, horrified, and disgusted. After a few weeks went by and all that happened was he had to take a break from show choir, a group of people in band and show choir got together and planned a way to get him suspended/expelled. He was forced to finish the school year online after a few of the people in the group talked to the middle school counselor. I later found out that he filmed a few minutes of it. Half naked girls.. filmed.. fucking disgusting. The worst part is, we don’t know if he still has the footage, or worse, if it was distributed.

this happened to me at age 12 too, just in a different way. LARGE AGE GAPS AREN'T COOL. while you're under 18, 1-2 year age gaps for crushes is fine, but anything larger is a problem. if he's 6 years older, that's not normal. when you get to that age, you'll realize, "what was this person doing talking to a CHILD and not someone their age?" tell a trusted parent or guardian or older sibling. and IT IS OKAY TO SAY NO.
This happend to me once.. ill tell you my story. Welll something like it. i was once at art class my art teacher was weird, he told me to help him out with cleaningthe desks and stuff. When i almost had to go,he touched me..in a ..uncomfortable way..- i told the principal the next morning,she fired him for good.

Yeah that's so unrealistic Because if you are in the situation,you can't just say that because we'll you feel ashamed,scared, embarrassed you got roped in the situation. The only way to stop it is if you have really good confidence and is just not scared of anything or if someone finds out. If someone finds out it'll give them the courage to finally talk about it
I had a boyfriend who really sexually abused me for years . He was charming, nice, but when he had his dark side, he beat me, psychologically abused me and sexually abused me. He also tried to control my life, I had to drop everything for him, even if I had plans I needed to be there for him. I talked to a friend about him, I didn’t really go into details , but when I was making excuses not to hang with her, she helped me actually find a new boyfriend and gave me the courage to talk to my mom. Telling my mom what was going on was brutal, she went ballistic on me and him. She was sexually abused herself growing up, and she never wanted me to face that myself. But it also freed me, especially after time when we talked about it again and she confessed that she had the same thing happen to her, she just never wanted me to face the same thing.

I personally think this should get on tv as well, like maybe on break between their cartoons or smth, i mean, the animation is really nice and smooth, and is atractive enough to have the attention of kids and make them listen, and it would be great if kids where to see this issue, and act on time if it where to happend to them or their friends

I can relate... I was verbally harassed by one of my teachers... Just 2 years back... He just talked called me teach me when there was no one and that did creep me out a little bit. And the way he looked at me and stuff... was just disgusting... And then one day he started talking about "sex education", "blue films", "masturbation", etc... And he happed to be my economics teacher. I just felt super uncomfortable. He didn't touch me or anything... But it was very VERY uncomfortable and I also noticed that he gave me very good marks (better than all my classmates) even though I didn't actually write that well... And he also always tried to talk to me more frequently and stuff... He also asked for my phone number saying that he'll call at night... And by that time, I had fortunately understood his intentions so I said "Oh I don't HAVE a phone... I can give you my mother's number though but she'll pick up whenever you call". And he just dropped the idea right away. I went back home that day and I texted my bestfriend. He told me to tell everything to my parents and I listened to his advice. I told everything to my father first... And my mother was there so she listened to it too. My father took me to my school the next day and we complained to the Principal. They investigated and they found out Francis (the teacher) has harassed many girls of the previous batches... But none of them had complained out of fear. I was the first one. My school suspended him for 2 days and then he was kicked out. I'm really greatful to have such wonderful parents and such an understanding school... And I am really greatful to have my bestfriend in my life who gave me the right advice at the right moment and saved me. Oh and yes, he's still my bestfriend and also my boyfriend now. ❤️
It sucks that this is blocked in a couple of schools because this does happen. I have this acquaintance, his mom would tutor me and he was in a “relationship” with a 20 year old guy. They exchanged too personal stuff and he stalked him. The parents had a restraining order against the guy but their son couldn’t grasp the situation. I feel sorry for all of them.

This is a really important video. I have been consistently assaulted and abused sexually over the past two years by a group of sickos and it’s been like hell on earth, all in the “comfort” of my own school, if it wasn’t for my friends I don’t know how I would cope. Coming forward about it was one of the hardest things I could do, but my friends convinced me that I would be helping others suffering too. It was hard especially because I am a male. It isn’t taken as seriously and it sucks. Help out your friends guys.

Honestly it would be really cool to have a tv series like this that handles tough subjects. The art style is very cute and I think a lot of younger kids could benefit off of this. I was abused by my dad and step mom, but I didn’t understand it was abuse because no one told me otherwise. They made me read this story call “a child called it” it was about a young boy who was beaten, starved, and almost killed by his mother. My dad told me to read it and understand what true abuse was and how good I was treated compared to that boy. For the longest time, I thought abuse had to leave physical scars or bruises. My dad would slap me across the face and my step mom would pull my hair. Not to mention all the psychological and verbal abuse. I really didn’t learn about psychological abuse until I was a sophomore in high school. I really love these videos and think they are amazing for younger people. Thank you for making such informative , and helpful videos.
I have a crush on a guy a few years older than me. I’m 12 and he’s 16. Even before watching this video, I know exactly what’s wrong and what’s right. This crush is like a little high school delulu phase. It’s a silly crush, but I would find it extremely disturbing if he liked *me* . He’s a good guy, genuinely, and it’s not like there’s a personal relationship between us, I just admire him. I’m glad my friends tried to step in, they didn’t at first because he made me feel so happy and I’m not usually happy but they always stayed by my side and helped me through it and I thank them for that

I am so glad they show these videos to my kid. She once was sexually abused, and me and her dad weren’t there. The teachers actually were good teachers, they helped people, and showed these types of videos. I am so glad that my kid had a great school.

My now, unfortunately, ex best friend was abused by her boyfriend. For 2 years, I dealt with her leaving me voice messages of her screaming and crying over him. I still remember the first time he abused her. They had an argument and he choked her. She screamed and cried and begged me not to make her leave him. That still gets to me, how she thought I had some type of control over her life when in reality, all I ever did was look out for her and tried my best to guide her. I never hid my hatred of him to her. He isolated her from everyone, except from me. I remember the night she told me they had an argument and he ran her over with his truck. I remember how he manipulated her into having a threescore with his best friend. I remember how he would rape her. I worried about her so much it affected my life, my mental health. I was unstable. My anxiety was through the roof... but she was so far gone she never truly cared. I know it now. She was blinded but what she so desperately wanted to be true love. I dealt with it so long and I tried so hard to convince her to leave him, but all she had were excuses as to why she couldn't. Then I started realizing, she seemed to like being the victim. How she always got herself into these situations and how I was there to pick up the pieces. How I fought so hard to keep our friendship, when she never did. I ended our friendship in the summer of 2016. What convinced me was when I realized she was punishing me for basically hating her boyfriend. How the day before, I said how I didn't give a shit about her boyfriend like I always said, and she stopped talking to me all day as a way to "punish" me. Thats when I made my decision. I remember her messaging me saying that she was now cutting herself because of me. How she told me I hoped I would die. I stopped responding and she stopped messaging. She messaged me 3 days later saying that she forgave me and that she really doesn't want me to die, but I had hurt her feelings... never once did she apologize or realize why I ended our friendship. I still think of her a lot. I mean, I truly loved her as a friend and even now I want nothing but the best for her.... regardless of that, she never put the same effort into the friendship like I did. She kept secrets from me, while I was an open book with her. My door is still open to her. But as long as she stays with that absolute piece of shit of what I don't even consider a human, we can't be friends. She also needs to understand why I did what I did and stop seeing herself as a victim and making herself a victim. I'm happy this video seems to have a better ending between the two friends than I did with someone i considered my best friend... and sister. And if you see this and know its me, just know that yes I do miss you and I'm not ashamed of it. But because of what happened, I am a stronger person and I thank you for that.

This story happen to me when i notice my best friend sent a screenshot of her teacher ( chineses male )texting her she dont know english cus he text english. Then few day later i noticed my chinese teacher touching and getting close to one of my classmate. Im cant believe it cus he a monk he shouldnt do it. After that i told the my teacher which i trust her the most the whole story i had witness , 2 months later i got call also my classmate and a my best friend. When we got there my face went white as a police mens and i see more boys and girl around my grade also 4 and 3! The chinese teacher is here looking nervous. If a friend is in this situation, CALL 911 IMEDIETLY! Be sure to explain to the police the situation and get the preditor in jail. That is the first thing you should do

My best friend really worries me, as she sometimes goes from "forever single and happy" to impossibly disparate to be with a boy like as if she will die if she doesn't have one on his knees for her. Then she gets with one and ends up losing the spark and breaking up. Which is totally fine, she's young so yeah. But this disparate state is what freaks me out. When we where in middle school there was this man that worked in the school to help disabled kids, and basically they talked more and more and he would ask her via signaling from the bathroom windows to show him her boobs, (also she tells me this stuff years later so I can never trust her if she said she hasn't done anything) and I did not know at the time, but I always did my best to protect her and tell her to not trust him because even tho I didn't know what he would signal to her I still got creeps from a man his age being so invested in a girl hers. The thing is that she is very easy to manipulate, and I don't even think she felt like that situation was wrong. Basically I don't think she would have ever done anything with him, but I also think she wouldn't have said stop to anything as she really really loves attention (she kept on going to the bathroom, and then she would tell me how he is so weird but she would still be happy and never miss a chance to go) . Don't know if it's clear. I just want her to find a boy she will stick with so that I can worry less but I don't think it will happen any soon.

PLEASE READ THIS Two years ago i had this friend. I’ll call her Sky. Sky seemed normal and friendly at first but after a few months things got weird. She told me that she was hearing voices. She said that she was the only one that truly loved me and that she would hurt anyone who even looked at me. Eventually she started threatening to rape and/or hurt me. She would constantly remind me that she knew where i lived. She started pressuring me to send her photos. I sent her 1. It was just me in my bra nothing more than that but it made me feel so dirty. She eventually pressured me into dating her, I trusted her so i agreed. It started to happen more while we dated. We “dates” for a week at most. My friends made me realize how bad the relationship turned out. So i left. Im still scared of her and have panic attacks when i see her. Im pretty sure that its not PTSD because im still young, there was no touching or rape, and it was only two years ago. A few days ago i told one of my friends about it and they told a social worker at my school. When i talk about it, it feels like something is squeezing my heart. I mostly stopped thinking about it but know i cant stop. Was it assault, harassment, none of the above?! I feel so embarrassed and dirty about it. Im only thirteen and I was 11 when this happened. I don’t like telling people because i feel like i let it happen to me. I stayed in that relationship for an entire year. My parents found the photo’s on my phone but i was too afraid to tell them. They thought i just sent it to them because I wanted to and I didn’t have the courage to tell them what happened. They still don’t know and i want to be the one to tell them and not the school. I just don’t know how to bring up the fact that i was continuously sexually harassed two years ago?! Im just so frustrated and confused. Whenever i see sky i want i run away as fast as i can but I can’t. We go to the same school and have a class together. Apparently she has been doing it to other people. It appears that you were sexually assaulted. You were pressured into sending pics to "sky". This isnt your fault but i recommend you get in touch with someone and tell them about what "sky" did to you and is currently doing to others. You said you go to the same school so tell ur parents or a teacher they might be able to take care of it from there.
