I'm so done with Chicago's violence. This man was a good person and didn't deserve to die. I feel awful for his family. I can't wait to pick my family up and move the hell away from here. I love my city but the violence and killings are making many of us who were born and raised here leave for safer cities or leaving the state for Wisconsin or Indiana....

He lived in Gage park. It's not a very nice area. He should've moved to a better area. I know Chicago's rough, but you still got some nice pockets of communities, where many police live. MG greenwood, Evergreen park, Beverley, oaklawn, I too am angry at chicago being a crap city. I can't even walk to the corner store. Can't even be out shopping past 10 r 11am. Every time ou step out ur house it's a risk to just do ur things. When my daughter completes grammar school, I'm selling and leaving.

Then I read how the budget is low so a lot of things like things that help people from being homeless or an attorney being with someone going thru eviction. Programs like that are practically being cut. So, that's going to cause more to be homeless. Why is it always the struggling that don't matter.
