Defending American exceptionalism, the scholar asserts that he sees the US as the most civilized imperial power with which "we can discuss human rights," he argues. The podcast further explores discussions on the Middle East conflict, Pakistan's crisis, and the revisionist thoughts in Islam.

He is yet to decolonize his mind. Hassan shb please read a basic and worthy literature on Post colonialism, decoloniality, international relations and have firm grip on Western philosophy and politics. It will help you to decolonize your mind and develop a balanced view.

Almost all his answers with respect to the societal issues in the US are backed by presenting failures of Pakistan. No doubt, he is super knowledgable and eloquent in defending his new homeland.

I think you haven't read the disclaimer in the end of the podcast. Even in the last part of the teaser, it is quite clear that the host doesn't agree with the everything he says instead the host taunts him.

He clearly has no understanding of what he's talking about, all of his focus was to praise US somehow. He has either not read the socialism or in other case has misconstrued it. By criticism of capitalism, he has misconstrued that it might be that socialist wanna take away cars and proud of land while they simply say that world's top 1% has way more wealth than rest of 99%. Talking about American Capitalism, even Europe is better than america as in many European countries have public health and education system. Germany, for example, has a free university level education on the other hand there's no (middle class) person in US who can go to university without a loan. That's what people meant when they criticize capitalism. Secondly, he has no clue about geopolitics. He was presenting US as the sacred cow who can never do anything wrong and is a human right champ. Hypocrisy of US is vividly evident in the current genocide that they are complicit in. Anyways, totally useless podcast, don't waste time.

The guest - although with great command over Urdu language but little understanding of the US , 5 years is not enough time to understand US- 37% of US population has beed exposed tertiery education. Many immigrants - it the initial 10+ years in US Zcome away with view like this gentleman, that Americans are involved in vocational professions - are less educated.

Law and order. America is a great example of effective implementation. Your guest is in the same mindset about US that the host is about UK. IT takes 20+ to understand WESTERN countries, and longer to realize how tgey got there. We - with our middle class insecurities - get over-whelmed with effective implementation and take it to be a civilized manifestation of deep philosophic project. Apropos usurpation of rights how can, in currentimes, one justify the half inheritance, half credibility, denial of leadership role and restriction on free movement (hence denial of education,career and financial independence) to women under Islam? These as well as sanction of polygamy, child marriage, sex-slavery, marriages of covenience (Muttah etc.) and domestic violence etc. have to go if Muslim world has to ensure that half of Umma i.e. women participate in development of society.
