Hey Jonathan! Here's the perfect joke for ya! An electrical engineer, mechanical engineer and a software engineer are carpooling on their way to the office, when the car engine dies forcing them to pull to the side of the road. The mechanical engineer says, it's probably a mechanical problem. I'll look at the schematic to see where to start looking for the problem. The electrical engineer says; no I'll bet its an electrical problem. I'll put my multimeter tester on the fuse panel to see where the problem is. Finally, the software engineer says; Let's all get out of the car, walk around it once, get back in and shut the doors. I'll bet we'll be back on the road in no time! 💡🔌🌡⚡️

I saw someone had commented on the other upload regarding the animals possibly chewing the wires. Maybe build a fence surrounding the panels to stop them getting anywhere near them. Just a thought 😁 Awesome job, awesome family!

I would have put the batteries on there sides so that dropping something metal does not have a chance of going across the bussbars.

How can the BMS monster each individual cell voltage when they are all tied together? doesn't seem possible.

There are 16 sensors connected to the BMS and to each cell. In our case a "cell" is actually two batteries paralleled together. So it's easily able to track the voltage on each cell with the sensor connected.

I am sure they don't but any OFF GASSING with the batters ohms law basically voltage is low amps are high and batters hook up like jump stating you car positive to positive voltage is same amps are greater . positive to negative voltage is higher amp doesn't change . I know no one cares ,jest testing my mind see if anyone's home ramble on

Lithiums don’t off-gas thankfully. By joining two in parallel and then each in series we are purposefully increasing the voltage to 48V to keep amps lower so we don’t have to use super thick cables in the rest of the system.
