I found this channel recently and i loved it I have a Lubeck one from event, i would share the experience on using it. Those thing are nightmare and hell on sea for Coastal ships The 40mm are shredding everything who has a small size, n crippling destroyer or bigger ship who doesn't really have armor Always use HE-VT cz that's the most usefull round and doesn't make sense to other one The ASW rocket is noticeably stronger than RBU-6000. You can kill a destroyer with a single shot of a rocket, but lack of depression n range So the thing wouldn't go further than 3km, and you would feel absurdly can't fire it when enemies is around or closer than 1km Torpedoes performance wise is close to useless Always goes for all target to use bot on your secondary caliber (the 40mm) Not just it's protect you from air threats when you busy fighting or observing other things, but it can goes as eyes for you when there's sneaky small n speedy boat trying to go for sneaky torpedo attack, and the gun will automaticaly shoot even it has no accuracy and hit the target. Manuever wise, it's not the fastest ship, not very manueverable, and this size is kinda big compared to other frigates like the soviet SKR. So knowing where to go is crucial for this ship This thing absolutely brawler when you know how to use it properly, but also know what threat you are facing. You don't want go like super close, and trying to rush SKR-7 on cap. It's invested with it in 4.3 BR Cuz they will decimate you with RBU-6000, your gun will be crippled, and your ASW rocket can't get enough low to aim at him My suggestion to use this ship is : Just stay back behind an island, shoot everything that moves in your range, and retreat to repair when you get crippled Cz even if you managed to sunk some enemy and they're trying hard to revenge bombing, they will have a hard time to aim the bomb correctly between the island, and won't survive the 100mm and 40mm HE-VT round to the aircraft

Thanks for the lessons in using the Koln, although I have a lot of trouble deciding to actually grind the coastal ships, especially top tier coastal as the grind is abhorrent sadly. Except sometimes in a cinematic manner on the The Shooting Range. But they have an entire production team and Bruce's narrations are just *chefs kiss* cherry on top! And you also have a very nice voice and engaging narration.. it's professional! To say the least! o7
Hello commander! I am looking at ships to grind the Soviet Bluewater Fleet, but not including the price, I can’t decide between the Kerch (the rank four Kerch not the rank one) or the Zheleznyakov. Which one do you recommend? Thanks!
Although the Zheleznyakov is a fantastic ship, it's BR of 6.0 will see it fight Battleships and Battlecruisers nearly every match. The Kerch at 5.3 offer a good mix of gameplay between 4.3 and 6.3 and will net the best rewards long term. both ships have a similar armament and layout the Zheleznykov being heavily armored but facing tougher opponents. Unfortunately the USS Hoquiam is no comparison. As it is a WW2 Era Frigate, it is technologically inferior and it shows. Though it has some of the features of a modern frigate. This is not the case. The main benefit is that it is 1.0 BR lower than a Koln so it will have the opportunity to face 2.3 coastal boats only. This might be it's only strength. On paper the US Navy has one of the weakest coastal tree's due to their lack of a green water navy in modern times. USSR, Germany and Japan all have more capable ships in that role. In fact the USS Minscher in the blue water line is more of a modern frigate and is comparable to the Koln. Also cheaper and easier to unlock.

Love the channel. Kinda on-topic question. Helping allies to repair (pc Player).I know we can repair our selves but with teammates is it just a smoke screen or do we need to park up next to them and press repair like in tanks?
Thanks mate o7. With the new mechanic for repair. Any team mate can repair you and vice versa. You need to be fairly close. If your repair teams are doing nothing you will automatically assist their repair speed. Or repair them completely if they have no repair modules. There is no real feedback aside from the other player having the option to thank you.
A grand assessment of the Köln class but damn it annoys me slightly that Lübeck is technically the best Frigate in game even better then the sister Köln just purely by economical standards eg low Rc, low Ac & large craft gains thanks to being premium meanwhile every Frigate, Destroyer Escort & Patrol Ship is horrendous due to the RP/SL requirements. Speaking of Frigates yikes I've just started grinding mods on the Tacoma class & I fear the sight of a Köln, Just 12 matches in an I'd rather elite a Pr.50 all over again... So commandant what are your thoughts of the economics of the Cost'all TT being lowered to similar level of the cheapwater TT or vice versa? Be it the RP/SL requirements lowered to 100k rp per vessel/ 200k sl per vessel an the repairs dropped to being below 4k sl & 1 sl shells like every destroyer & cruiser has (play the Type 41 if you want to lose SL)...
Yes I totally agree in regards to Coastal Repair Costs and Ammo Costs. It's ridiculous that the same British 4.5 inch shell found on the battle class costs 25SL per shell to use on the Blackpool. Not to mention some of the RP costs for essentially niche vehicles. None of the US coastal tree is competitive after 3.3 and this applies to the UK as well. IJN has a decent Coastal tree hampered by ammo costs and nerfs to premiums. it's no where near attractive enough to want to spawn such a vessel. I haven't run into any cost issues myself. As i have only just finished the Soviet and German coastal TT's. These are probably in the best state so far.
hahaha are you dumb? the most powerful most dangerous frigates are in the USSR, pr.159 and pr.35, they are able to easily drop Pensacola and even Admiral Hyper with their missiles (any destroyer, light cruiser and heavy), Lübeck is shit compared to them (objectively)
Yeah mate, because I have a full time job I don't get alot of time to play. I play more naval because it's the newest mode and because there is a huge gap in content. As my channel grows though, you will see alot more variety. I have a couple of shorts on ground vehicles and a history video the "Winter war" which you might find interesting o7
