I ended up meeting Chris Sarandon at Boston Comic-Con back in 2018, and he actually told me that Jerry Dandrige was his favorite role of his. Such an underrated movie, one of the best of the 80’s! Take me back!
@@garyeverett4192 that’s a great idea , maybe when he was in love and then he was turned!!!!!! The early vampire in him wanting to maybe turn his one true love. The man in him wanting to save her! Maybe why he said to Charlie , I’ll give you something I never had ………. A choice!!!
@@thebiz1066 yeah. Would be a great story. Maybe she refused that life or maybe he left to protect her or she is the one that turned him and died protecting him. Would be a great film. Cant understand why it hasn't been done 🤷♂️🤣
That's what I keep trying to tell people. #1 reason why 80's vampire movies were better. THE FUCKING SCORE. Literally just the music does so much for the sexiness of the movie...
As a character Jerry is a good one, he never wanted to hurt Charlie, even offered to let him go and forget everything just so he could continue loving his unlife but nope Charlie had to push him over the edge, great movie!
ya know.. ive loved fright snd have seen it dozens of times from the first time i saw it in 1994.. and just now listened to this song again.. and just now realized that i am in love with this song.. i wonder if it was a seperate song that was adapted to the movie.. or if it was specifically written for the movie.. cause this melody and solo have sooooo much emotion... seemingly far too much for it to be solely created for a movie only.. im a musician.. and im willing to bet that it was originally a stand alone piece.. and then was put into the movie later on.. at which point they added the last part with the ominous thrumming at the end to mold it more precisely to the movie..
been hearing it since 1985, first saw it then at the age of 9, loved the movie since, and I still get chills. It's one of those films that later got me into goth music.
@Erik Cobra Kai never Dies I'm not talking about the original "Fright Night, Part 2". I"Fright Night 2" I'm talking about is this one, which is basically the same premise of "Fright Night", but has Charlie and his friends as foreign exchange students, Jerry is a female vampire and Peter Vincent being a reality TV ghost-hunter style Internet show host: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XGx3w5HGujs.html
@@erikapayne9348 you took the words right out my mouth ....i was born in 1987 and literly from birth my old man had me hooked on 80's horror . Epic era which i wish i was a part of instead of this garbage today.
@@nissan300zxtt9 Same, and the 80's movies, music, sports were all spot on point. Great decade to be a part of, and was awesome having it shown at a young age of what was just missed.
Joker Shakur nice! Hes a good dude, we brought him out last February for the vampire ball and made a bunch of sets for us, my interview set he made is my default whenever i go out. What set did you order?
That's the reason fright night is such a amazing film from Brad fiedel's incredible score to Tom Holland's incredible writing and directing, Chris Sarandon's absolutely incredible portrail of Jerry Dandrige fright night is just incredible and it's actually believable not like this sparkling Robert Pattinson twilight crap that went on for years as far as I'm concerned I'm team Jerry Dandrige all the way!!!
Awesome when Jerry Dandridge hushes Amy with his finger from her mouth down her body even though technology is better now they can't repeat that with all their computers these days
I will put this on soundtrack for the Halloween party and these type of 80's people who grow and listen this classic this song will make them realize look young again and memory.
I played this the very first time my girlfriend and i made love....i had candles burning in an otherwise dark room...with this playing i have never felt so passionate...she said she felt the same way....wow what a night...thanks Dream window!
I’m a Person of color and this is by far my best vampire flick of all times!! I love vampire in Brooklyn but that doesn’t even compare!! The music is alluring and makes you want more❤️
my mum loved this movie, i was born in the 2000s and grew up watching it and i was pretty much obsessed with it as a kid. looking back nowadays, no piece of modern media is as amazing as this movie. the soundtrack, the way it was filmed, the acting and the cast, honestly this is such an underrated film. i love it sm, i wish my friends would see this movie as well!!
Just finished watching the film ever since I was a child 3 years old and never stop watching it I just turned 30 this will always be my favorite film and this soundtrack Hits different 💯❤️💎💫🔥💪🐏
Awesome soundtrack, the movie itself is a gem, perfectly balancing horror and comedy with a lot of subtle hints to the history fo the genre and.. well let's say it, this clip is sexy as f***
Fright Night has nostalgia for many people that grew up in the 80s and early 90s. I tapped into that nostalgia after so many years by rewatching the movie recently. Glad to see others here sharing that connection in 2024.
Your life is the same, day after day Everything that you do, you do the same old way I can show you the world in a different light Keep your heart to yourself, give your soul to the night Come to me when you're lonely Come to me when you need something new Come to me when you're restless 'Cause I've got something just for you, just for you You can wait your whole life for the sun to rise When it finally comes up, it's gonna hurt your eyes I can show you the world in a different light Keep your heart to yourself, give your soul to the night Come to me when you're lonely Come to me when you need something new Come to me when you're restless 'Cause I've got something just for you, just for you Just for you
"It's not my fault Charlie! You promised you wouldn't let him get me! YOU PROMISED!" "Amy ......" 😁 I LOVE that scene! Scared the crap out of me first time I saw it!
Great music from a great movie even after 35 years! This is terrific with the synthesizer and the drum beats For a movie about vampires draining people’s blood they make it pretty sexy with this tune
I saw this at a midnight premiere. There wasn't a person leaving the theater who wasn't trying to hum this. It's about damn time there's a nice clean version available.
I love sound of this song in the began in the intrusmental I love Fright Night 80's classic from my mom childhood when during her younger years I'm order it I remember when I was a kid watching this on VHS and I was born in 1991 early 90's.
