What’s happening in this Fright Night movie clip?
Jerry (Chris Sarandon from The Princess Bride and Child's Play) appears, but Peter (Roddy McDowall from Planet of the Apes) is able to lure the overconfident vampire in front of a window using a crucifix - now working due to his renewed faith -. Just before the morning sun, Jerry transforms into a bat and attacks Peter and Charley (William Ragsdale) before fleeing to his coffin in the basement.

What’s the Fright Night movie about?
Charley Brewster (William Ragsdale) is passionate about horror films. He wouldn't miss "Fright Night", a show devoted to fantasy cinema and presented by Peter Vincent, a famous vampire hunter. When Jerry Dandridge (Chris Sarandon from The Princess Bride and Child's Play) and his bodyguard move into the house next door to Charley's, they have only one piece of luggage: a coffin. Some time later, a prostitute disappears. Charley understands that his neighbours are vampires. He warns the police, who do not take him seriously. To get to know each other better, Charley's mother invites his new neighbours…
