Thank you so much for making this video! I have the same dryer and the same problem and I was able to fix it myself for $23. The repair companies were quoting me upwards of $250!
Great video. Just ordered the same ND a heating elements as out element recently broke. Figuring I might as well replace the beari g and belt while I'm in there. My poor dryer definetly needs a good cleaning on the inside. Thanks for the video! I was having trouble figuring out how to get the barrel out. Your video easily showed how to do it. Yay for saving me $900 and a trip to the yard to scrap out my dryer!
Very helpful. My front panel has support tabs at the bottom which it sits on - they must be aligned before reinstall - they support the front, not the other clips or screws. Otherwise exceptional, and realistic - I drop my tools regularly; YES, some Phillips screws are large cross/pointy Phillips wont work. Great warnings and process throughout- THANX!
Great video man. I just bought this condo and this damn dryer takes forever... It's getting hot but I suspect it's too clogged up with lint. I see lint everywhere! So it's probably not getting air. I wish I watched a video like this first.
Very good video I used it to fix my Frigidaire dryer. My only question is did you really need that much grease to go into that area used about the whole tube is that necessary? Do use that much are used that much on mine. I was just wondering if that was something you knew or just guessed it
Did you run into any issues with that shorter belt that was supplied? I notice upon reassembly that the tension arm spring was now rubbing against the motor shaft. Looks like that would eventually cut through that spring.
