Is your Frigidaire Refrigerator not cooling properly? A noisy fan noise? The Condenser Fan motor could be the culprit. It's a very easy job and easy to troubleshoot. With the fridge unplugged and the back panel removed give the fan a good spin and see if it's smooth. If not your motor is bad. Also, if the motor is spinning freely, but still not running, you can check to see if it's getting power. You'll need a voltmeter or a contactless voltage sensor for this. Check between the two wires and see. You should have approx 120 VAC. A word of caution, if you're not comfortable using a volt meter probe, or being in an area with electricity, I advise you to not to this job and leave it to the professional.

What if the fan is still running but the fridge is not cooling

Could be several things... could be a compressor. Possibly the refrigerant has leaked out.. Could be a sensor. There are many variables unfortunately..

I'm having a cooling problem in the refrigerator but not the freezer section. Fan is still running fine. What could that be?

There is a damper that allows cold air from the freezer to travel into the refrigerator. If this sticks or stops opening and closing, it can cause this. You can google your make/ model number and see where that damper is located and how to check if it's bad. I hope that helps.

@@Allaiya. I replaced my defrost timer and it fixed my issue. I had to take the unit down where the light is and use a blow dryer to melt the ice that froze the damper hole between the freezer and fridge section in the back after you replace the timer. You'll see the holes above the fridge section once you take the 4 screws out.

My freezer is fine. My fridge won't stay on 9, keeps going to 1 & H which I think means Hold. When I press ^ arrow up & hold it goes to 9 but will eventually go back to 1 & hold. Please help!

Kinda sounds like a circuit board problem. I don't work on fridges everyday so I'm not sure on that one.. Have you tried to google your brand and that problem to see if you get any hits? Just for the sake of it have you tried to unplug it for about 5 minutes and plug it back? I know that's a long shot, but you never know.. Yes I did both, unplugged it & plugged it back in. I went on U tube & looked up the problem. Didn't really find that particular primoblem. It reset & was ok & stayed at 9 for awhile. Now freezer seems ok but fridge won't stay on 9. It's a 2014 Frigidaire. It goes to 1 & H. Thank you. Just disappointed ppl sell fault y appliances. Going to report to Offer Up.

My fridge looks just like this in the back BUT there is a white latch that is connected to the fan and coils how to remove that

The problem we have is the fan blade will not stay on the motor shaft when running. Any suggestions on how to secure this? Frigidaire Gallery Model FGHB2868TF7

Oh wow! The center of the blade may be worn and it's fitting loose. Have you tried loc-tite?

Those Frigidaire units are loud. Mine does the same thing, makes all kinds of noise. I've been to lazy to investigate why and where the noises are coming from...
