that might be the way I go. I have been trying to "chooch" a belt squat together using my cables and whatever I have laying around. this looks to be the perfect solution.
I've been using a ratchet strap attached to the top so I can hook in and have something to hold during the set. I may have to try the jack stand idea, though!@@flynlow43
That strap may work best for you. My belt squat arm has a ball joint, so it moves side to side, as well as up and down. I can hook on and take a step or two to the side before I squat. Then just step back over and set it on the jack stand. I have a triceps rope attached to my rack to hold on to. As long as it works, right? Nice video. @@ClarksvilleBarbellClub
