I spent four days speaking and teaching frisbee to 250 students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 at Glenbrook School.
I love getting to do a residency since every student gets to learn a lot of new things about frisbee and also gets the opportunity to practice many of the skills they've learned throughout the residency. I gave away 15 mini frisbees to students who were able to twirl upside down for at least 5 seconds, threw into the disc golf basket or basketball net, or set the school record for most catches in a row without a drop. So proud of everyone for how hard they tried and for doing their best and encouraging others to do their best. I talked about the value of learning from failing - it's ok to not like failing - but we want to learn from failing.
