It was so hard to watch him struggle to finish this tribute. He was constantly looking up towards heaven. If you haven’t seen his Love Me Tender, Elvis cover, you really need to check it out. It has a very sad connection to this tribute.

From listening to some interviews,Dan grew up in a Methodist church in Brazil and doesn’t hesitate to tell people he is a Christian, makes no apologies. It’s like you can see,in his eyes,the Light of Jesus! Vas Nation!❤

As a follow up to this, please react to Dan's cover of another Elvis Presley song, Love Me Tender. He did it as a tribute to a fan who wrote him requesting permission for this American Trilogy Video to be played at the service of her terminally ill husband. Her husband was also an Elvis fan. So very kind and compassionate. Thank you for your reaction.

My tears are flowing again😢 You're right, Dan is such a "true" man who is not shy to show his vulnerable side. Another fact that I find very admirable, is that he's left his earliest recordings up on Ytube (which he says "suck")😉for all to see. Thankyou once again for your Christian perspective and reaction.

The beginning words were "for my beloved father, Roberto". The words at the end are "sleep with God, father" and, roughly, "see you in a little while." Yes, Dan's music inspired me to learn português. I've been learning it on Duolingo for three years now. Dan's parents did a great job raising Dan and Davi! Both are such wonderful young men! This song just rips me apart every single time I see it! I feel so bad for him, and I also feel bad for people who, like me, don't (or didn't) have a father that they could look up to and love as much as Dan obviously loved his. Beautiful reaction to a beautiful video!

I agree about how both boys were raised. I also thank God every time I watch it, because I did have a dad who very much treasured his wife and four children (plus the very first one of us who was born, who only made it 10 days, and then went on ahead of us all, to be with the Lord). Both my mom and dad are with our brother Jay Robert, AND one of my other two brothers, Frank Jay. It's hard that all three of them are gone, leaving my other brother and my sister to remember them, and see them at some later point. We know where they are. Thank you, Lord! 😀

This one gets me choked up every time because of why he did it, how well he performed it under such emotionally trying circumstances of recent loss, and how hard Dan tried to hold back the tears. He just sang his heart out for his Dad & I'm sure his Dad would be so honored and proud of him.

@@gametchanger I binge watched your entire Dan Vasc playlist last night, over about 6 hours, whew!😅 I liked (👍) each one and commented on many…. but I’m not sure if I could ONE favorite. Your playlist was phenomenal! I look forward to seeing more, especially now that I’m caught up. I never used to like reaction channels….. an assumption that I blindly made before watching any. I’m so glad that I decided to give them a chance! I love hearing new thoughts about songs that I’ve already loved and have even found new great songs that I never would’ve heard otherwise. Dan did a cover of a song by Roy Khan called "For All" in celebration of Roy's return to music after nearly a decade. At the end of the video, he's very vocal about his stand on being outspoken for one's beliefs instead of catering to those who are offended by them. It's a beautiful song. Dan had respect for Roy. Roy Khan had left his group (Kamelot) due to the adverse impact on his health and ability to be a good husband and father. Instead he became a counselor & youth director at his church for a while before later reuniting with his first band (Conception) years after having left Kamelot. You may have already reacted to "For All", but I thought I'd mention it in case you hadn't since you mentioned Dan standing for his beliefs.
