Jesse J is easily one of my favorite vocalists of all time. Her performances on this show (omg please react to Killing Me Softly and Purple Rain) solidified that.

Thank you for this reaction. Jesse J did indeed sing the hell out of this song, and made it her own. :) Another one from this same competition (The Singer_2018), and is probably my personal favourite, is "Killing me Softly with his song" Definitely a good watch.

From the same competition, her rendition of "My Heart Will Go On" is something to behold. One of the only times I can ever remember a crowd being stunned into total silence for about 5 seconds while they try to process what they just witnessed. Must be seen to be believed.

The rules of the senior competition are you have to make the song your own and Jesse J is absolutely killing it. She has such powerful vocals

Great reaction! I love Jesse J, I think she is so under rated when it comes to being one of the best female vocalists out there. Watch Purple rain from this ..she brings tears to the audience, it is so moving. It's my favorite version of Purple Rain.

Jessie won the singer competition in China and her medley of 7 songs is just a treasure trove. Each one is a classic. She is not just a great singer but also a great performer. Singing I Have Nothing in concert requires so much stamina. That alone separates Jessie from other singers who cover this song in concert or merely in studio. She is an unbelievable artist.

Yes Megan Jessie J is a great singer and a lovely person. Fun facts : 7 years ago at her concert in Manila Morissette was one of her backing singers and she brought her down center stage and let her do a solo bit as well as singing with her. At the singer competition in 2018 when Dimash sang his amazing version of 'Hello' Jessie J was waiting in the wings as she was next on stage and could hear Dimash singing and Dimash listened to her singing after he finished and gave her applause and thumbs up. Videos of both of these events are on YT.

Kudos for her to go to China and go into a competition with knockout, with pro contestants like Dimash. Super audio quality, live orchestra, etc. We are blessed to see her performances from 2018.
