I still make this as a vegan. I use plant based ground like impossible meat,and non dairy products for cheese and sour cream! Everything else is the same. Still awesome 🌱💚
@@cassiel2507 We make it with taco meat in Michigan also. At least whenever we made them we did. I didn't even realize they were making it with chili until after I commented lol 😂...oops. I definitely want to try it with the chili. It looks so good!

From Plano, Tx we have Frito Lay headquarters. I grew up just calling it Frito Pie. This is the first time I have seen the chili added to it. Different places different names. Anyway love y’all so much! Congratulations on I ❤️ radio award! 🎉🍻
This recipient looks easy for me to make especially since I am 18. Maybe I can make it for my family sometime. I love your guys recipes. I make most of your desserts on the weekends. I love how Angela gets excited about food and the podcast.

I make mine like a casserole. I take a cake pan, dump the Frito's on the bottom, then dump the chili on top and top with a good amount of cheese. Bake in the oven350 degrees just until everything is hot and cheese is melted.
This looks so yummy. I’ve seen something similar made with Doritos, also called a walking taco as others mentioned. So fun to see you two together. Looking forward to the Office Ladies book 📖💚

I was on a business trip with a colleague and we were near his hometown in Iowa & he insisted we go to his hometown’s farm team baseball game and that was where I had my first frito pie! Loved it!
When I was in America long time ago I had these and was shocked to see you only had the original Fritos flavour! In South Africa we have tomato flavour that goes so well with this recipe 👏🏻 thnx guys gonna make this now!!
That looks so good. We have a variation of this called "Walking Tacos". We make them for High school band shows and car cruises/shows. It's the seasoned ground beef, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese and sour cream (jalapenos if you want) in the Frito's bag. Walk around and eat with a fork.
I didn’t know about frito chili pie till I moved to Texas and I was like EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THIS!!! I like to do it as a layered casserole with a ton of shredded cheese melted on top. Also I love that you put kidney beans in your chili. I hate the “real chili has no beans” thing... my chili has kidney, pinto, AND black beans in it!
