Indeed. And we see Sam's literal talent later on in the scripts that JJRT translated to modern English, which are a part of the Appendices.

These are the best renditions of Tolkiens poems I have heard. It sounds elvish. You should do the song of Beren and Luthien

Yolanda, you are a miracle. And I say this with all the gravity and intention behind this word. I have no words to describe how perfectly you captured the deep sorrow we all felt, for all of our lives. From reading this in the novel, and outside of it.

Okay now I remember. Sorry I haven't read that part in nearly two years so I couldn't quiet remember. Also I think your versions are better than other peoples versions of the same poems. You just seem to have a better understanding than most which makes your videos much more enjoyable for me and by the comments, I'd say many others as well. Maybe one day you can go through his other work and find other Middle-earth poems to add to your channel. Till then, "May the stars shine upon the end of your road." :)

I love your songs! Found them recently. Clamavi de Profundis has great renditions of a lot of Tolkien's poetry, but not this one or a bunch of the others you have.
